Welcome to our family forest!  We've preserved this site since the 1970s.  This forest spans the ridge between two streams: Huber Run and one of its tributaries.  We've seen deer, fox, and other wildlife on the land, as well as many native plant and mushroom species.   Be sure to check out the fields of ferns on the far side of the ridge.  We hope you enjoy your stay!

Great place to camp!
What a great spot! The hike up to the ridge was the beginning of the adventure, and we are glad we arrived with plenty of sunlight. Really appreciated the firewood and Jacob's helpfulness. Highlight recommend!

Really nice campsite!
Awesome campsite, feels quite remote but is just a few minutes away from the city of Lancaster. Included stumps to sit on, a nice fire pit with some logs, water barrels (the water is non potable), kitty litter and a shovel. Also features a nice flat open spot for a tent or three. The walk in is not long, just a bit steep.

Sweet Spot !
Nice little campsite, the 10 min walk can be a little tough when carrying stuff up it. All in all not a bad little site.

Primitive Ridgetop Forest and Ferns
5 minute fairly steep hike to a nice stone fire ring, tent site, water wash station, and picnic table. The host was even kind enough to have kindling and small branches available for extra fire wood. Great little camp site with the privacy as a bonus. I plan on stopping back for a camp visit again in the future!
