Creekside Camping
Not to Quiet
The sight was not as private as we had hoped. We had people walking through the site periodically fly fishing in the river it was kinda unnerving looking up and staring at a stranger walking by a few yards away. The sight is located near the path of a horse farm were they give group riding which starts at 8am in the morning as they ride by the site in large groups the person leading the convoy speaking very loudly to the group so don’t plan on sleeping in as there is a group that goes buy almost every 20 minutes starting at 8am. The host house is very near the camp sight which would not normally be an issue but on the second night Saturday the host hosted a loud party at the house which lasted until 3am. I know this because we were awake the whole time because of the noise not only did they talk very loud it sounded like they were banging on pots at points in the festivity’s. We herd the guest say good by and leave in there car at 3am and then we were finally able to get some sleep only to be woken up at 8am by the horse riding groups. The area and the sight was nice and well maintained but if you are looking for a quiet get away this is probably not the place for you.

Creekside Camping
This was a beautiful site. With the trees providing shade and the refreshing creek next to us. They have a lovely property but it is not as secluded as I would hope. A road is right next to the site where cars drive by and there are bikers and horseback riders passing through. Overall I had a great time and would recommend.

Perfect spot!
Lovely- field full of fireflies at night! Fell asleep to the sound of the babbling brook and the horses neighing. Perfect for what we were looking for! Too-
If you have water shoes bring them as walking in the creek is very rocky.

Beautiful spot on French Creek
My husband, toddler and I stayed at Creekside at Sheeder Mill and had a wonderful time. The location is very beautiful, it is right on French Creek, and we positioned our tent close to the bench so we could hear the water at night (at the recommendation of the host). The site was well maintained, and had a picnic table and fire pit that you are able to cook over. We enjoyed seeing lots of wildlife during our stay. We saw blue herons, owls, lots of songbirds, and lots of crayfish in the creek. Host was quickly available via messaging, which was great. The site is near hosts home, but still feels private and close to nature. Would definitely recommend!

Creekside Camping
Definite return trip!
What a wonderful experience! The area is quaint and spacious. Fun trails near the creek for our kids to run around and be independent from mom and dad but still very close and safe. Plenty of shade. If you are into geocaching, a cache is very close by! We will definitely visit again. A very enjoyable time! The host was always responsive to any questions we had. Thank you so much!
