Had a great stay on Tom's farm! He has 4 campsites set up, all within a couple minutes' walk from the main farmhouse (where the bathrooms and parking are). The sites are incredibly spacious, ours had great privacy as well, and the wagons he provides make it no big deal to haul stuff from the car to the site. He also had an enormous pile of fallen wood for making fires, as well as sizable piles of splits (15-18 logs) that he chopped available for sale for $10 each. The farm also connects to a park with lots of nice hiking trails, highly recommend heading to the lake + dam. All this less than an hour from Center City, but you'd never know it, as it really does serve as a peaceful escape from city life.

I felt like I was in the wilderness. The feel I was going for. It was so peaceful and relaxing. I stayed at site four and I actually forgot I was only 54minutes away from home. Tom was so nice and respectful. He walked me to my site and we had a great conversation. I ate eggs form the chicken on the farm. That was different for me. It is plenty of wood for a fire. I can’t wait to come back.

Had a great time! Weather was a bit dreary, but nothing terrible. The land is beautiful, Tom is awesome. Site 3 is on a slope, I’d definitely recommend for hammock camping. Trees are well spaced for it.

Plenty of free, fallen branches for firewood. Great access to Hibernia park trail. Bathroom was nice and clean and well supplied. Be aware the driveway will be challenging for cars with poor ground clearance.

We had a fantastic experience once again at Scenic Turtle Ridge, thank you to Tom for hosting as always. This was our second stay but at a different site. The weather was bit chilly, slight rain at night, and kept clear for the remainder of our stay. Site 2 is excellent for 4 tents and the fire pit was perfect to keep us all warm throughout the day and night.

Amidst the beautiful property of Turtle Ridge and farm animals, four campsites offer more privacy to campers than a typical campground. Close to hiking trails, what more could you want if you love nature?
Site 1 was closest to the bathroom, was spacious, and had a beautiful view of the pond below. Tom, the host was helpful and accomodating. He also has carts for campers to borrow to get your belongings to your site. We would absolutely go back!

The location was perfect (site 1), I absolutely enjoyed every minute of our trip. There's plenty to do, with tons of trails to hike, and fishing options. Excellent amenities including an onsite bathroom, firewood purchase, and even eggs. Would absolutely love to come back soon.

Tom was awesome, very informative, and just a call away if anything was needed!
Site 2 is at the very bottom of the property, so keep in mind that whatever you bring in has to be carried/carted down and back up, but Tom provides great wagons for this purpose that make the hauling easy!
This is a great spot, and Tom is a great dude. Definitely worth it to stay here. I just wish I had booked a longer stay!

We were on site 3….horrible weather to say the least. Tom was very sweet and guided us with a lantern while setting up in the dark…very cool place. Just be careful of the speed bumps going back. If you have a sedan, make sure the tires are filled accordingly or you WILL BOTTOM OUT! Site three is on a slope. I do not recommend using a large tent on site three we had a 12 person tent for just two of us and we may do if we had a smaller tent. It would’ve been much much more of an enjoyable experience, even despite the rain. The animals are lovely and we do plan on coming back again just if we have a bigger tent and the kids with us we will have to probably stay at a different site like I said if you have a 4 to 6 person tent, you’ll be fine on site three but anything bigger I don’t recommend staying on site 3 Very Nice place Tom is exceptional! And it’s far enough away from home but close enough that if you need to go home it’s there thank you so much, Tom .

Beautiful piece of land, serene and rural. In the morning we saw goats, ducks, and chickens as well as deer, squirrels, and a fox. Campsite #2 was private and woodsy with perfect trees for hanging lights or a hammock, a picnic table, a fire pit, several chairs, a fire extinguisher, and an unexpectedly gorgeous little koi pond (an old water trough with a very large white and orange goldfish inside). The inside bathroom was sweet and had lots of items provided and for sale on the honor system. Tom was so kind and very knowledgeable about the history of his land; a joy to talk to. Prepare for a bumpy road in and a bit of a walk to the site (though really nice carts were provided). I wish we had more time to explore — this farm is set within a larger park with many hiking trails. We would stay again!

Fantastic camping experience at turtle ridge farms. Group had a great time at their large camp site (site 1) and being close the parking and bathroom was definitely a plus. Also had the opportunity to feed some of the farm animals (goats and sheeps) which was fun.

Tent camping on Tom’s land was wonderful. We loved the mix of wooded and open area and overlook of the pond that Site 1 had to offer. It was also the perfect distance from the farm house where the bathroom was located. Tom offered small and personal items for sale incase anything was forgotten (our favorite was the s’mores kit!) His land also backs up directly to a state park that was plenty of trails as well as fishing spots!!! We also loved waking up to the noises of the many cute animals all over the farm. We will definitely be returning!

Very peaceful property and great location. Right behind a county park, so very easy to get up in the morning and hit the trails! Tom was great, very accommodating and helpful. Would definitely come back.

We tent-camped at Site 2 and had a great time. There were others at the other sites but you really can't hear/see them so its super peaceful. The provided carts to carry your things was very helpful as it was a bit hilly-er than we thought from the parking area to Site 2. The bathroom was well kept and Tom was super nice and helpful.

This place was awesome! The location of the wells was convenient and Hibernia Park was beautiful! The water was clean and crystal clear. Tom is lovely and super nice. The bathroom was a great option, and Tom let us charge our phones inside if we needed it. Loved all the animals, really excited to come back. Thanks, Tom! The eggs were delicious too!
