Stay on 10 beautiful acres of rustic, private land with many good camping spots to choose from in grassy areas with lots of trees.

Enjoy boating/fishing/swimming. Lots of wildlife around the lake; a resident heron, eagles, geese, beavers & otters, and the usual on the property like woodchucks and rabbits, and DEER of course.

Campfire ring,  water spigot (private drilled well) and electric available on the property. Neighbor cottage partially visible, but our property is pretty secluded and private. Two picnic tables, many chairs and side tables.  Well behaved pets okay, leashes may be required.  Mostly level terrain, ample parking area.  Very peaceful here.  My favorite place to relax, with my guitar and a glass of wine!

Campsites are reasonably private and secluded. We mow paths through the area where camping is best; there are sunny and shady spots.  You may choose any spot you like, mowed or not.  It's pretty spread out, both sides of stream.  The lake and dock area and the boats, the gazebo, as well as the large fire ring and picnic tables, are communal. There is a portable metal firepit available at lakeside as well.

Parking is in a large gravel lot behind cottage area. Most campsites are located across a small stream, easily accessible (less than a 3 min walk) from the parking area.  Path immediately next to parking leads to a nice camping area alongside stream. Truck and car-top tents in the parking area may be allowed upon request. We ask that cars stay in the parking area, but there is a wheelbarrow for use in transporting your gear to the spot you choose.

There is NO toilet (our cottage is private.)  You must pack it out, or bring your own portable toilet with disposable liner bags.  No shower, but the lake is great for swimming.

The campsite is amazing and lake is gorgeous! Catherine's sister met us and was very friendly and welcoming. The only drawback of the campsite is that there is some kind of industrial site in the area that I couldn't see but could definitely hear trucks and machinery at all night. I would still absolutely go back to this camp despite this!

Thanks for the nice words, and glad you enjoyed your stay. Unfortunately this is Marcellus Shale country and there are gas wells in the area; sometimes they are working at night. If the wind is right, you can hear it... Very sad, but there is nothing we can do about that. I'm sorry that bothered you. I hope the bullfrogs did their best to drown them out! (They can be PRETTY loud, too!!) Thank you for the visit. - Catherine

Nice relaxing weekend on a nice quiet lake. My wife and I were lucky because we were the only ones camping here this weekend so we camped right on the lake and had our own personal Gazebo right on the lake (normally it is a common area if there are other campers). They had boats and canoes to use along with a beautiful dock. Fishing was okay (Largemouth, pickerel and panfish), electric at Gazebo, water by a nearby cottage and views were gorgeous. Well maintained all around. The only drawback for a family would be there are NO restrooms, toilets or showers. It's camping at it's finest.

Thanks so much, and glad you enjoyed your stay -- I see you were blessed with a beautiful rainbow over the lake one day! The only toilet at the property is in our private cottage; and that is a drawback, but we just thought it would be nice to at least share the rest of the property with others regardless, for the days when the family isn't using it; it's a little sad to have no one enjoying it. Happy that you were able to have a nice weekend! - Catherine

Our camping experience was amazing! This secluded camping on the gorgeous lake was beautiful. Our dog Sadie was so happy running and rolling on the lovely field of grass leading to a charming gazebo and the lake. Our hosts were very gracious. I highly recommend camping at this wonderful place.

Gosh, I could gush about Tom and Catherine's little slice of heaven for ever. They were wonderful gracious hosts. They cut us some firewood (we didn't need it but nice to have) and gave us free reign to use their boats. We were right on the lake! What a view to wakeup to!
The little spicket next to the cottage is right over some lovely mint. Washing your face in that spicket with the refreshing mint smell is just the best feeling after a sweaty hike.
We hope to come back soon!

Catherine and her husband were really helpful with whatever we needed. The lake is super fun. We used their kayaks and canoes 🛶 and were swimming even when it was raining. It’s chilly at night so make sure u bring your own sleeping bag or a blanket. We loved it, u will too!
