Oh! Pear Orchards is nestled in the Endless Mountain Region in Northeastern PA. Located on the fertile ground between two streams, the orchard has several varieties of pears--including, but not limited to, Olympic Giants, Hosui, Bartlett and 21st Century. In addition to selling Asian pears, Oh! Pear offers a look at a close to zero energy and negative carbon footprint.

In addition to selling Asian pears, Oh! Pear offers a look at a close to zero energy and negative carbon footprint.

Located on Oh! Pear South Stream, this is an isolated site and is part of the #1 rated campsite--Hannah's Haven-- in PA and the nation--children allowed. A deer trail literally goes through the middle of the site. This site is held for one group, has its own private trails and will support 3-4 tents, depending on size, or an individual or a couple. If you don't want visitors, flip the sign to the trail (at the bottom of Hannah's Haven} to closed. The trek is challenging--although not too long (about 375 feet)--and we strongly recommend you backpack your gear and essentials. We DO NOT cut down trees and/or remove rocks to make paths. For safety reasons, we have, however, recently taken down a number of ash trees; hence, the labyrinth of stacked wood at the campsite.

If you're into social distancing, this is the site. Once you reach the location, we're not even sure if we can find you!!! Please, if you have balance problems or physical challenges, this is not your site. Hey, you wanted to get away from it all! Other than setting off a nuclear warhead, you're not likely to bother or be bothered by anyone. The site has a brand new picnic table and Big Horn 47" Fire Pit grill. Follow the neon green trail markers--Liam's Lair Lime. The campsite is breathtaking!!

While we do permit dogs at this site (for an additional fee), you must meet the requirements under Rules.

For those of you who want to stay in touch--although we suggest you not plug in--we do have a broadcast gateway that travels out 5 miles in all directions (included in the price).

For Holidays and Special Events, we do require a 2-night minimum stay, there will be a cost of $20 for each additional Hipcamper and we operate under a SUPER STRICT Cancellation policy. By instant booking Liam's Lair, you and every member of your party confirm that you have read, understood and will abide by all Rules as stated.

If Liam's Lair isn't available, or if you'd like to consider our other sites, please see: Hannah's Haven (our signature campsite with 4 individual sites--just downstream from Liam's Lair); and, across the road, Donna's Drop-Off (NO children permitted) and our newly opened site, The Serengeti--which is a sister site to Donna's Drop-Off and where children are welcome.

Despite the rain this weekend, my friends and I had a wonderful stay here. Being right next to a stream was picturesque and the sounds made falling asleep heavenly.

We liked that this site was more secluded and private compared to the others. It was relaxing sleeping next to the water! Having the fire pit was super convenient we made all our meals on site. You do have to bring all your items down a little trail and there’s a part that might be difficult for people with balance issues. Overall, we would book again!

Liam's Lair is an amazing campsite! Very secluded and private. The stream running next to the site provides a great ambiance and entertainment for kids. Getting to the site involves a bit of hike that might be tough for older people or kids (but our group included younger kids and had visit from 70+ year old grandparents - and they all managed). I think all the sites at Oh! Pear Orchids would make for great camping trips. Greg the host was incredibly responsive and helpful despite spending part of visit dealing with the aftermath of a huge storm at his home.

We loved our stay at Liam’s Lair. It is secluded and beautiful. The sound of the babbling brook lulled us to sleep at night and we barely wanted to leave for our hike; it is very peaceful. The pathway down is a little tricky while carrying gear, but totally manageable, and worth it for the privacy of this campsite. Greg was an awesome host, thorough with directions and quick to respond to questions. Thank you Greg!

Liams Lair is everything we expected and more! It's such a beautiful secluded spot, very clean and private. The creek next to the site is fun to explore and was relaxing to fall asleep next to. While the trail to the camp site is a bit rocky and uneven, it definitely adds to experience and is a cool bonus. The stars at night are incredible, so I'd recommend bringing a hammock to lounge in. Greg is a great host and is very responsive to any questions you might have. We had the best weekend and will be looking to return soon!

This is my second stay at Oh! Pear Orchards and it won’t be my last! This time my friends and I booked Liam’s Liar, which is a lovely secluded campsite just upstream from Hannah’s Haven. It was well stocked with (dry!) wood, a firepit, table and spacious enough to fit three tents but still cozy. The weather gods decided it would rain for most of our stay but the campsite is grassy and flat so we had no issues with run-off.

Greg is a gracious, communicative host and respects the privacy of campers looking to relax in nature.

HIGHLY recommend!

My partner and I had a lovely experience. The experience was seamless start to finish, and the campsite setup was well balanced between the creek, sufficient space and nice firepit.

The property at Oh! Pear was simply beautiful to say the least. It was exactly what I was hoping for. We were tucked away on our own private site quite a ways down and far enough away to feel isolated from the others. At the end of our weekend, the host was at the bottom of the hill reloading the firewood stations. She kindly offered up the bed of her truck to pile our gear into & drove it to the top of the hill for us. That was such a blessing. She saved us a lot of time & backaches by offering to do that. We were most appreciative of her kindness. We had the delightful opportunity to pick our own asian pears before we left as well. And they were Oh! so delicious! Undoubtedly the best pears I've ever eaten. I hope we have the chance to come back & do this again. A giant thank you to Greg & Donna for sharing your lovely land & delicious pears with us. We had a wonderful time & truly appreciated our experience there. Oh! And we enjoyed Fred's company as well. A sweet little deer who greeted us when we arrived & came to say good bye when we left. Such sweet hospitality.
