This is our original campsite--which began our Oh! Pear Orchards camping legacy.  The campsite is a short walk downhill from where you park (refer to the short video provided, when booked, for more information) and it is remote. Rugged, majestic and peaceful sites (4) are set alongside the picturesque stream. Each site is outfitted with a Big Horn 47" Wood Burning Ranch Fire Pit, a picnic table and the potential for an outside adventure. Bounded on one side by an escarpment and on the other side a mountain, this campsite is irrevocably secluded--and has been voted the #1 Hipcamp site in PA. It has no less than 100% positive reviews from all adventurers who have stayed there.

For those of you who want to stay in touch--although we suggest you not plug in--we do have a broadcast gateway that travels out 5 miles in all directions (included in the price).

For Holidays and Special Events, we do require a 2-night minimum stay, there will be a cost of $20 for each additional Hipcamper and we operate under a SUPER STRICT Cancellation policy. By booking Hannah's Haven, you and every member of your party confirm that you have read, understood and will abide by all Rules as stated.

If Hannah's Haven isn't available, or if you'd like to consider our other sites, please see: Liam's Lair (just upstream from Hannah's Haven) and, across the road, Donna's Drop-Off (NO children permitted) and our newly opened site--The Serengeti--which is a sister site to Donna's Drop-Off and where children are welcome.

New site anticipated next Summer:

Lucky's Ledge:

The 1200 foot linear campsite is a ledge cut into the escarpment overlooking Oh! Pear South Stream. It lies about 60 feet above the stream. Some campsites are for those campers who do not desire to set up their own tent, but instead have one pre-placed for them. The tents will be available upon your arrival. The ledge is merely 15 feet wide, so watch your step.

I enjoyed my stay here so much! Donna and Greg treated me like family, and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. There are a few kinks to be worked out as they're figuring the bathroom situation, how to provide water to their guests, and which sites will work best as camping spots.

I personally loved staying by the creek. You can't imagine how peaceful it is to hear the constant "whoosh" of water running by as you lay in your tent. The clearing area adjacent to the creek will make a perfect spot for hanging out/ cooking once the fire pit is added.

Enjoying the creek, and figuring out how I can get down there! There's a clearing right before you reach the creek, which they said the'll put a fire pit in soon. Setting up my tent creekside! The water isn't too deep... I'd recommend water shoes if you want to attempt to cross to the other side.

We had a group of 18 people for Memorial Day weekend come out to this property and the consensus was that it was a great spot! We fit 8 or so tents across the stream which was beautiful to hang around and frolic in. The kids and 11 month old baby (first camping trip) definitely enjoyed it! We had a lot of space to roam, play games, and just hang out in privacy which is exactly what we were looking for. Greg was very responsive and helped us with whatever we needed. A few things to work out like toilet/showers. We didn’t mind not having those amenities, but perhaps for groups in the future it could be improved. The listing is also a pack out for trash. Greg was gracious enough to take care of our trash. It is in a woodsy area so we were mindful of ticks (which a third of us ended up having). Overall, we left the property with smiles and great memories! Thanks Greg!

We had a wonderful stay at the Pear Orchard. It was a gorgeous site, right by a river (about 100 ft walk from the car), we felt like we were camping alone in the middle of an enchanted forest!! We didn't get to meet Greg, but he left very clear comprehensive instructions and was great at communicating by text messages. We hope to come back soon. Thank you!

This was my very first experience camping on someone else's farmland that I did know, and it was a really wonderful experience. I will try to return at some point. Helpful hosts, beautiful property. the sound of the rushing stream right next to my tent was nirvana. I wanted to stay in the tent all day long. There is no fire ring as of yet, i know Greg has it in his plans. But there is a really nice cleared out area where i set up the cinder blocks provided and made a nice makeshift pit. There is plenty of firewood provided so you will not need to bring any of your own, you just have to bring it down from the covered structure down the hill and then down to the camp site. Donna gave me a ride down all the way to the clearing in her truck, closely followed by the very sweet Lucky. Both hosts are very nice, and helpful with anything i could think of. Really above and beyond. If you were to cook out, i would recommend stopping to get groceries before or expect a good hour round trip to pick up anything. I ended up hitting up a bar and grill that had a decent chicken parm, and sold six pack to go! Also, there was really good wi-fi, that stretched all the way down to the clearing (not my tentsite) if you're into that thing. I am looking forward to my next adventure on the Pear farm!

The site was just what we were looking forward.. even with the rain we were comfortable to keep on camping as there were plenty of places to hoist tarps.

Oh! Pear Orchards was a beautiful camping site. The stream was lovely and there was plenty of space for tents and relaxation. I would recommend bringing your own water, since the potable water was a hose on the side of the house. However, there is a convenience store less than 10 minutes down the road with large water gallons for cheap along with most other camping supplies you might forget. It was a lovely experience, my friends and I had an amazing weekend. We will be back!

We've had incredible experience. Everything was as listed. Actually no, it was even better. The spot was perfect, the campfire pit incredible, it was private enough (there were campers next to us, but far enough to feel private), superb parking even though we had to drive three cars. Camp wood is readily available. It was picture perfect, truly. We'll be back soon and look forward to try some of the new sites. Couldn't ask for more. Thank you so much, Veronika

I loved this location! I wish I had a chance to meet Greg and spend a few more days to just lounge around on site and . I was able to spend a night there. It's so peaceful and beautiful. I saw a dear in the woods right as I arrived at the campsite. Thanks, Greg!
