Oh! Pear Orchards is nestled in the Endless Mountain Region in Northeastern PA. Located on the fertile ground between two streams, the orchard has several varieties of pears--including, but not limited to, Olympic Giants, Hosui, Bartlett and 21st Century. In addition to selling Asian pears, Oh! Pear offers a look at a close to zero energy and negative carbon footprint.

Bounded by water on three sides (Oh! Pear north stream), this campsite is not for the timid. This is an isolated site and is part of the #1 rated campsite--Hannah's Haven-- in PA and the nation. No children (under the age of 18), sleepwalkers, persons with vertigo, excessive alcohol drinkers or folks with impaired balance are allowed. Donna's Drop-Off is ideal for honeymooners and lovers alike, close friends, individuals who may want to get away from it all or who need to lift the heavy burden carried on their shoulders......and animal lovers. Although we don't have the providence for, we believe Baby Yoda was born quite close to this location--hah! The site is 50 yards upstream from a waterfall surrounded by ruins from a 1700s lumber mill. It is approximately a 20+ foot drop to the water below--and anyone planning to jump will surely die a most painful death. At night, it is rumoured that you can still hear the horrific screams and moans of those unfortunate enough to have been on the State Highway 546 bridge--as it collapsed into the cold, black abyss below. Adventure awaits.....for those who dare!!!

Although newly opened, we believe Donna's Drop-Off will become our signature campsite--as it sits on 13+ acres and a 1/2 mile of stream frontage (once booked, see aerial drone video).

While we do permit dogs at this site (for an additional fee), you must meet the requirements under Rules.

For those of you who want to stay in touch--although we suggest you not plug in--we do have a broadcast gateway that travels out 5 miles in all directions (included in the price).

For Holidays and Special Events, we do require a 2-night minimum stay, there will be a cost of $20 for each additional Hipcamper and we operate under a SUPER STRICT Cancellation policy. By instant booking Donna's Drop-Off, you and every member of your party confirm that you have read, understood and will abide by all Rules as stated.

If Donna's Drop-Off (NO children permitted) isn't available, or if you'd like to consider our other sites, please see: The Serengeti--which is a sister site to Donna's Drop-Off and where children are welcome; and, across the road, Hannah's Haven (our signature campsite with 4 individual sites) and, just upstream, Liam's Lair (Instant Book).

We had an absolutely amazing time at Donna's Drop-off!! It is such a lovely little site with a perfect view of the stream and meadow. We set up a hammock on the trees by the edge and it was great! Our dog loved running around and the access to the creek! The site is like your own little slice of paradise! It's a fantastic getaway in the woods that provides easy access but the feel of being lost in nature. In summary, we loved it and would definitely stay there again!

We LOVED staying at Donna's Dropoff. Greg was an amazing and responsive host. His directions were perfect and was able to answer all our questions quickly.

But, most importantly, the location is AMAZING. So private and peaceful overlooking a beautiful babbling stream. We loved falling asleep to the sounds of the creek - all of us were amazed at how well we slept. Exploring the waterfalls downstream made for a fun and relaxing day. I highly recommend bringing a hammock - relaxing and looking over the dropoff was a much-needed vacation.

Definitely my favorite hip camp location yet.

We had a great time at Donna's Dropoff for a last-minute weekend trip with our dog. The site is visually secluded from everything and everyone - it felt like your own private oasis in the forest. It had called for rain while we were there, and only one area really had space for hanging tarps, so having an extra pop-up canopy would be helpful if you want both your tent and picnic table shielded from the elements. Bring long hiking pants, bug spray and water shoes for this site if you want to explore around the immediate vicinity, and check for ticks after. To get to the waterfall downstream from the site, you can either take the "dry route" through taller grasses or wade through the stream. Our dog loved splashing around in the water, and falling asleep to the sounds of the water was heavenly. Bonus: wood is provided right onsite (pre-treated, covered with a tarp). We also cannot say enough about the host, Greg, who was incredibly welcoming and helpful.

We recommend checking out the Florence Shelly Preserve (20-minute drive) if you decide to venture off-site. Though this trail is a little overgrown (again, bring pants), the trail is well-marked and even on a Saturday, we had the entire trail to ourselves.

What a wonderful experience all around!

This was the second time we stayed at Oh! Pear Orchards and we have only positive things to say. Donna’s Drop Off was perfect for our two tents, with a beautiful view of the creek. It was very private. Highly recommend!

Amazing secluded property with access to a small stream below. It was lovely falling asleep to the sound of the stream. Highly recommend the property to anyone looking for a seamless, secluded camping experience. Greg is a great host and super-responsiveness. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

Beautiful campsite situated on a peaceful creek. Directions and host Captain Greg were very helpful. Couple negatives in my opinion tho is the road noise provided by speeding cars driving down the nearby road, and the lack of trails or places to walk and explore the property.

Donna's Drop-off was a beautiful environment with very little hassle - moving to and from the site from the parking lot was easy. Plenty of space for out group of 6. We enjoyed the adjacent creek. The firepit and picnic table were both in good condition. Tree coverage at the campsite kept us cool during the day, but the ample room in the parking area was ideal for using our telescope at night. No disturbances, nicely secluded while still near a road. Captain Greg was extremely helpful, communicative and kind.
