The name WindStone Landing was given to our farm from the two things that are in abundance here ... wind and stones! The Landing comes from the fact that the farm wraps around our 10 acre lake. We are chemical free and all our animals are pasture raised right here. Learn more about this land: Ever want to see what life is like on a small rural farm in Pennsylvania? Then have we got a spot for you ... and just you! We have one campsite (for up to six tents) nestled in a clearing behind our lake. Walk the woods, fish the lake, give us a hand feeding the turkeys ... as much or as little as you want to do. One of the unique things we can set you up with is to provide all the food you need straight from our farm. Eat from the very ground you are sleeping on! You can't get much fresher than that. Just minutes from the trails at Mt. Pisgah state park that meander around Stephen Foster Lake.

Fun & low-key camping weekend
This was a great private site with easy access to their lake which had a nice walking trail as well as the perfect spot for our kids to catch ( and release) frogs, toads, tadpoles & more! We also enjoyed the variety of birds we saw, including some beautiful orioles. The site was immaculate, the hospitality from David& Marla is unmatched , and we loved enjoying all the local produce and meats from their delivered fresh business! It made packing for camp meals much easier. We would happily camp there again!

Windstone Landing Farm is truly a gem tucked away in the rolling farmlands of northern PA! Our hosts couldn’t have been more inviting or accommodating. They exude joy for their work and shared their inspiring story of how they created this oasis. We were surrounded by beautiful meadows dotted with an array of colorful flowers, forest, and views in several directions of neighboring mountains and countryside. We heard sounds of bullfrogs, Canadian geese, and red winged blackbird on the large lake encircled with a walking trail and perfect spots for fishing. We saw stars galore from our large campsite set back from the farm happenings. Dave treated us to a tractor ride tour of his beautiful farm and he made our 6 year olds dream come true by getting us involved with the care of the turkeys and chickens. We ordered food such as chicken eggs and delicious strawberry jam for breakfast over the fire pit with wood provided. If only we could have stayed longer…. Do not hesitate to vacate your day to day to relax and enjoy all that this Hip Camp has too offer!

Stunning Views and Gracious Hosts
I loved staying at Lakeview Sunrise! If David and Marla could have changed the weather, I know they would’ve! We still had a great time despite the rain. Initially came up to visit World’s End (about an hour away), and I regret not allocating more time to visit the farm itself. That alone would make the trip worth it. I’ll be back!!

Great Family Camping Weekend
We had a wonderful two night stay at Lakeview Sunrise with our 3 kids and dog. The campsite was large and private, and had beautiful views. David and Marla were so welcoming, and took us on a tractor ride when we arrived (which thrilled our 5 year old son the most!). They also provided an insulated water cooler, which was far better than the one we had brought. We ordered food in advance, and enjoyed grilled chicken and apple butter from their farm. Bonus -- the site was less than an hour from Corning, and we enjoyed a side trip to the Corning Museum of Glass.

A truly incredible weekend getaway
Where do I even start!? From the moment we arrived at the farm, we were welcomed with warmth, kindness and hospitality. David and Marla were eager to help with anything we could possibly need during our stay and made sure to check in daily in case there was anything we forgot to pack or had questions about. Despite staying on their property (both their home and livelihood) we also felt a sense of total privacy. The campsite was clean, beautiful, and quiet. We were staying quite near where they do work in the early morning and yet we were never bothered by any artificial noise whatsoever. Walking distance from our little “home away from home” was a gorgeous fishing lake where my dog could swim to his heart’s content and we could sit and watch the sunset, and around the lake were multiple trails through their farmland and the surrounding forest. To make things even better, they are also part of a farm co-op! You can order online from a myriad of different local farms and eat beautiful produce, dairy, meat, poultry, and baked goods from humane and ethical farms in the area. You may even drive by some of them on your way to the farm as we did! There is something truly magical about knowing where your food comes from and feeling a sense of peace when you eat it. From beginning to end, this was a trip of total perfection. We are so grateful for the memories we made at WindStone Landing and cannot wait to come back.

We are GRATEFUL & AMAZED
What a profoundly hospitable couple, and what a soul-nourishingly beautiful location! David & Marla have EXTRAORDINARY gifts of warmth & care, making us feel genuinely welcome the moment we arrived and providing us with stunningly thoughtful support, conveniences and accommodations for our visit. The food (we ordered meats, poultry, produce & home-canned goods from their farmers’ co-op website, and our order was ready for us when we arrived) was of the highest quality, and I actually teared up a bit when it registered in my mind that the ground turkey I was browning over our campfire had been raised and processed on the land I was standing on... I don’t think I have often been THAT connected to the sources of my food before! The beauty of Marla & David’s open & embracing personal energy is matched by the indescribable beauty of the land they have chosen to share with us campers. THANK YOU, Nowacoskis, for a superb, unforgettable experience!! We pray you blessings, sustenance & encouragement as you continue to “Deliver Fresh” from your loving hearts.
