We are a working organic vegetable farm, and we also teach classes in primitive skills and wilderness survival. Camp is up on the hill above the farmhouse, a very private old hay field with a fire ring and about ten acres of space surrounded on all four sides by forest. From there, you'll have a full view of the sky and nothing made by humans in sight. Trail to camp is an old logging road accessible by foot, horse, or Land Rover. Guest horses permitted with proof of vaccinations. There's a second campsite at the bottom of the hill that is accessible by vehicles without 4WD.

We're just fifteen minutes away from Shawnee Lake and have one and two person kayaks available for rent.  We also have several sizes of children's bicycles which you may borrow for free.

If you wish, come down in the morning and accompany the kids with morning chores. Please ask before entering the horse pasture or feeding any of the animals. We normally have more than enough farm fresh fruits and vegetables to share, but please ask before picking. Pony rides are available for riders under 60 lbs.

We are located eight miles and two hollers over from the Lost Children of the Alleghenies Monument, memorialized in Alison Krauss's song Jacob's Dream.

Beth and Todd share a great location in a corner of their pasture. It has plenty of privacy, a nice hiking trail and a fire ring. There’s also a small shelter which was useful. I enjoyed staying here because it was quiet and peaceful and the hosts were super friendly and interesting!
