Our campground is located on our family organic farm next to the Raystown Branch of the Juniata River at the foot of Buffalo and Wills Mountain. The camp is a circle of cabins that were partly built as a logging camp in the early 1900's and additional cabins built after the camping boom of the 1950's. Shawnee State Park is just 4 miles away with a 300 acre lake. Historic Bedford is 7 miles with downtown shopping or Bedford Springs Resort is popular. Cabins are small with elbow room, 1 or 2 bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom. You can expect to wake to the distant sounds of livestock, look up to a view of the mountain, look over to the view of the pasture and farm, or take a short walk to the river. There's always someone around since some cabins are leased as cottages. A few empty cabins are still being renovated so please excuse the disrepair as we continue to improve.
