Murray was awesome and welcoming and the camp site was perfect with stunning valley views. Plenty of wood for camp fires, a nice grill that looked unused (we cook over the fire). Port-a-poty was in good shape and had TP. The bathroom at the shop with running water and a shower was in great shape, too. I would absolutely come back here and look forward to doing so.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit at our Twisted Oak camp site. Thank you Murray for such a thoughtful and well organized wilderness experience. He was very pleasant and encouraged us to take in the forest and enjoy bathing its all is natural glory.
From the view, to the trails and forest bathing, the shower facilities and not to mention the camp set up amenities (grill, fire ring, wood, trash receptacles, hammock, and yes... Cornhole for entertainment😎) the camping was amazing. Grouseland Tours definitely brings a new level of camping and still allows for the rustic outdoor camper.
Just a note that the site is rocky and a bit dusty. We had some rain so it wasn't that bad. The rocks were also a bit tricky when unloading our vehicles and to the trash bins. Hope Murray didn't mind but we adjusted them a little for safety and ease. They do encouraged visitors to leave the site better than when you arrived. A rake was also provided to help level areas and clean up. To the defense of Grouseland Tours all the sites are newly excavated so as it settles in the site will naturally growover again. They have done a great job arranging sites for the privacy, convenience with a wilderness experience.
Thanks again Murray!!!
We loved our experience. Can't wait to visit again. Maybe we'll try the BNB next time 😊🙏🌈
PS... love Elvis!!!

A really lovely campsite with a great view. Mason was helpful and the campsite was in great condition with a cozy hammock and a ready supply of firewood to help us keep warm on a chilly weekend. I look forward to coming back and staying here again! Lots of great hiking nearby too.
