Fun camping by a beautiful creek!
We had a fun-filled and relaxing time at the campsite. The stream was beautiful and fun attraction. The pavilion had three picnic tables and we used the grill to cook some steaks and other food. Nice to go to sleep with the sound of the creek nearby. Met Curtis and his kids and found them to be very friendly and interested in our well being. Oh and the outhouse was very accommodating, and odor-free. Planning to go there again!
Great for families!
A very nice campsite for families! From the camp you can walk into mammoth park. There is play equipment and a pretty lake in the park. The hosts were very nice, the campsite was clean, and it was fun to play in the creek. There was noise from the road and some neighbor/farming, but for family car camping it wasnt that much of a deal. Reccomend this campsite for families with little ones! The swing over the creek was a big hit! We couldnt get our kids out of it!
Amazing !! Our family wanted to stay close to home because we have two small children 2 and 4. We honestly only live a couple of miles away. That couple miles seemed like far far away but in a great way. Curtis left excelent directions and when pulling off the road you go strait back into the wood but not far enoufh wjere your car is off roading. The camp ground is flat and very clean. There is a place to make a fire with large rocks all around. We brought chairs but honestly didnt need them. They had picnic tables and a spot to grill. The toilet though being an outhouse was extremely clean and the host even provided toilet paper. This spot is amazing and will be returning cause its nice to get away if being close to home.
You really get what you expect. A perfect 'outside feeling' in a natural setting. The pictures show the site how it is, a small jewel in the woods, right next to Welty Run, the small creek.
The site was clean, has a ring of fire at the right place, a shelter either for hot or rainy days, a compost toilet nearby and the Mammoth Park in walking distance.
Curtis and his family are very friendly and helpful.
We had a great time and would like to come back. It's just a bit far for us -:).

Footbridge farm was a private, quaint campsite nestled in the woods by a stream. We had a great time, and the pavilion and fireplace were very convenient. I would recommend this site as a reasonable camping getaway. Ohiopyle and Laurel Hill state park are about 40-45 minutes from this campsite.
Liked the little creek and bridge
Enough space and kindling for a fire
Exact location is tricky.
There’s not really a driveway. To the right side of the house there is a field that’s wire fenced. On the street drive to the end of it and where the fence ends, turn left onto the grass between that fence and the next house.... u will see a little gravel road/path Enjoy
