Pitch a tent beside one of our fields and soak in the beautiful sunsets with a view over the valley, beside one of our spring fed streams with all the fresh water you could want, in a field inside our woods to be one with nature or beside our rustic cabin with horseshoe pits, a fresh spring, a fire pit and optional generator for nighttime use of the horse shoe pits or to just have a little extra light.

We have a little bit of everything on our farm. We raise Simmental beef cattle and some longhorn cattle that graze our pastures all summer long. We also have two horses, Dallas and Whiskey, three pasture pet goats, and a bunch of chickens who supply us with pasture raised eggs which you're welcome to buy and fry up for breakfast if you so choose. We do not supply any meals but we do have our own farm raised beef that you can choose from to either cook up some burgers or a juicy steak for dinner during your stay.

Our farm gives you the opportunity to unplug and relax in your own private campsite which you have the freedom of choosing depending on what type of experience you would like.

If you are adventure minded, we are blessed with many activities not far from our farm. From local swimming holes, to two fantastic local wineries, one less than a few minutes from our farm, the other only a 10-mile trip through the beautiful countryside. The Amish communities are only a 20-minute drive to our north where you can visit the Crossroads Farm Market every Friday night and buy some fresh local food and eat the BEST soft pretzels you ever had. You can then drive down the road and hit the drive-in and watch a great movie.

There are also a few farm activities. You can help us with grooming and feeding our horses. Come experience pitching hay bales if it's hay season, collecting eggs, or schedule a time to come with us out into our cow pasture for some up close and personal cow petting time and feeding them some treats.

Besides our property lines and our barn and home area, you will have all the space you would want to hike and observe the wildlife. Your privacy is key and we would never come and bother you at your campsite (unless during an emergency or it involves our daily farm work such as cutting hay in one of our fields). The only intruders you may have is our abundance of wildlife. You have the opportunity of seeing many deer (especially in our fields in the evening), red fox, bobcats raccoons, bald eagles and the possibility of seeing bears. We have different females that come and have a litter of cubs in our one hollow every year. They are always neat to observe, and as long as you don't bother them they don't pay you any mind.

If you have any other questions regarding staying at our farm please do not hesitate to message me!

Thank you,

Heather
