Our stay was wonderful! Came with three friends and my dog and everything was as expected. We were interested in swimming, grilling and relaxing in a woodsy setting. The cabin had everything we needed- efficient use of the small space. The backyard was beautiful. There was plenty of comfortable seating. We made use of the grill and the fire pit. Jennifer was an informaive and helpful host.
Jennifer's lake cabin is fantastic! It's equipped with everything you need for a break away in the mountains. My two kids (9 and 11) had a blast jumping off the dock into the lake over and over and over again. The kayaks were an added bonus and they enjoyed many expeditions across and around the lake. Meanwhile, my husband and I set some hammocks up for some much needed relaxation. The cabin is well equipped with everything you need for cooking. The water system worked great for washing the dishes and showering. Electricity was certainly helpful and the kids enjoyed the dvds for some downtime. The cabin is well situated and a short drive to a number of hiking trails, locals farms and attractions. We especially enjoyed the Wyoming County Community Fair. Jennifer is a wonderful host, super quick to communicate, good knowledge about the local area and full of recommendations.
This was such a cute, serene, and quaintly rustic cottage! I was there alone while attending a nearby festival, and wished I’d had more time to enjoy the lake and cottage. Though it says “no running water,” Jennifer and her husband came up with hacks to provide a water spigot and an outdoor shower that makes it almost as good as having running water. The cottage was tastefully decorated with TLC and attentiveness. Jennifer was very attentive and hospitable above and beyond what I would expect from a host. She provided detailed directions to where I needed to go since my GPS wasn’t operational, and checked in to make sure I was warm enough, offering to come by if I needed any help. I also felt safe being there alone. If you want to stay in a true nostalgic cottage on a private lake surrounded by nature, I would definitely recommend giving Jennifer’s place a try!
This cabin is so cute and private. I didn't see anyone besides us staying by the lake. Jennifer has everything that we need to make this a comfortable stay. We'll come back some day!
This place is amazing! The inside is so charming. Everything from the labeled spices to the faux fireplaces. Also the bed is the most comfortable one I have ever slept on! Forget the hassle of having to pack a ton too, the cabin is stocked with a lot of necessities! Super private spot. Love how the backyard has a lower deck with a gas fire pit on the lake, and then there’s an upper area if you want to make your own real fire. Can’t wait to get back here. This place will be a dream in the summer time with access to the lake!!! Thanks Jennifer, you’re a great host!
We absolutely loved our stay at Jennifer's cabin! Not only was she a welcoming host, but the comfortable cabin was overlooking a private, scenic lake. We used the canoe and even got some fishing in! If you're in the area and looking for a great lakeside cabin, definitely check it out!
Wonderful little cabin! I highly recommend this cabin. It is right on the lake, with several outdoor areas to hang out, watch the water, sunsets, and fires. The cabin literally has everything you need. Makes the perfect weekend getaway. Jen is a wonderful host, friendly and accommodating. Her cabin was immaculately clean and just perfect! We are looking forward to returning next season. I can't say enough about this cabin - loved it, loved it, loved it!!
