Quiet, peaceful small site with easy, short access to road.. Very convenient to Gettysburg. For RVers who need electric/water hookup, it is to the barn area which is about 10 yards to the hosts home. May be able to park a little further, with extension, must use A/C adapter, which hosts provided.
Hosts are helpful, responsive, yet unobtrusive. A busy family, not around much during normal business hours.

If you are looking for privacy, some time out of busy campsites or parks, this is a good value alternative.

Lovely people and property. Amy and Bill were extremely hospitable and Isabella, their 8-year-old yellow lab, made sure we felt right at home. We camped here with our two kids, who were pleasantly surprised that in addition to the peacock, ducks and chickens, they also had a trampoline! Lots of fun, totally recommend!

One of the neighbors was curious about us :-D

We chose the site mostly bc it was close to Gettysburg and a good value. Amy was so friendly and she was generous in sharing her peacock and duck with us. So those were bonuses.
The privy/outhouse is a toilet seat over a plastic bin. Our 6 females were not fans but the males were fine with that. And no shower for one night was fine.
The host’s dog plus the neighbor’s dog visited us often. We had mixed feelings about that at meal time. Izzie is a good dog and we enjoyed her.
Camping in someone’s backyard like Airbnb is unpredictable. Our family felt safe, comfortable and that were treated like friends.

A very nice place to park your rig complete with water & electric and close to a lot of historical and culinary attractions. Amy & Bill were warm and welcoming, as were their various friendly farm animals. We hope to return.
