Forget the alarm clock. One of our well-mannered roosters will wake you to let you know it's time to get up to enjoy the beautiful sunrise. You'll likely see local Amish buggies pass by with friendly waves on their way to work. Morning is such a nice time to visit the animals. They're quiet, relaxed, slowly waking up from a good night's slumber. Barn kitties will scamper to greet you, the goats will blather a hilarious morning refrain and the geese will welcome you with trumpets. The rest of the day is yours. Take a walk down the dirt road to a nature preserve, visit nearby Sugar Grove Amish farms for fresh, organic produce, gifts and candy, go kayaking down the beautiful Conewango River or stroll through historic downtown Warren, PA. Of course, you could stay and enjoy the farm too. That's what we like to do best!

Christina was an absolutely amazing host! When we arrived she had created a special gift for us, she carved out a pumpkin as a cooler and filled with our favorite drinks and some wine. She also gave us this amazing pumpkin roll her friend made. The cabin is cozy with lots of country appeal, filled with antiques and memorabilia from the farm. The cabin is fitted with a futon, that is used for sitting and sleeping. They provide warm flannel sheets and down alternative comforter. The cabin is kept nice and tasty with a fire place. At night you can relax and watch some DVDs on the Xbox provided.

During the day, you can spend you time hanging out with all the animals. This is an animal lovers dream, you have free range of the barn and all of the pastures. We got to hang out with the alpacas, chickens, geese, goats and kitties. There are many trails that you can hike on the property and on the Amish trail local to the area. There are several beautiful lakes you can visit as well.

Christina was so kind and brought us cream in the morning and sent us home with a dozen fresh eggs! I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a country get away!

Chris and Wes were wonderful hosts, and the cabin was perfect. It has electric and a little johnny pot, but no running water. With a comfortable bed, and a nice desk it has everything you need and nothing you don't. A great fire pit outside provides space for starwatching and smores. Just a few minutes by car from Allegheny National Forest. I'll definitely stay again!

It was perfect. As a solo female, over 50, camper, I no longer am able to do the wild, dispersed camping of my coupled youth. As such, I need places that combine camping with a few perks, like immediate shelter from rain, safety, and ease of use. Bella Luna's cabin worked just right. It combined camping and a b/b stay. I used it as a base camp to explore the Alleghany National Forest then I was able to return each night to a safe, comfortable camp with no worries. The Amish buggies trotting past my window both day and night were just an added bonus. Not the most rural of locations but had electricity for my devices and fans for the hot weather as a trade off. Much rather spend the money for this type of camp than for the RV cities that most safe campgrounds in the park have become. Just a perfect place for this HipCamper. Chris and Wes made both me and my large, oversize dog very welcome. It was a lovely stay.
