Please note the bus has a low ceiling and may be uncomfortable for guests over 6 feet tall. Also, due to the bus being off-grid we ask that guests avoid using high power consuming appliances such as hair-dryers, straighteners, portable heaters, blenders, etc. The electrical system on the bus does great with small electronics such as laptops, tablets, phones, camera it just can’t handle the large power consumption of small appliances. 4-wheel drive is recommended to access the site.

Wanda was wanderful!!
Wanda the Wonderbus was absolutely charming! It was very private, with a nice overlook and beautiful views when the sun sets. It was very clean, cozy, and a great experience for glamping. The hosts, Pete & Christina, were very warm and friendly! We paid for the add-on experience to meet the farm animals and it was completely worth it! We loved the dozen farm fresh eggs that was included with the experience of meeting the animals. Our favorites were Chuck and Larry, the two cute, chatty, and very friendly ducks! They have a lovely property, and Wanda really exceeded expectations on including little luxuries while camping. We will definitely be back!
Our hosts were amazing, they make you feel like you are catching up with lifelong friends. The campsite was the perfect getaway to forget about the stress of life - it allows you to reconnect with nature (but your cell phone wi still work if you need to be reachable). We opted to add on wood for a campfire and the a.c. since it ended up being hotter than expected. The ac we added on once we arrived and were grateful to be able to do so last minute. We got some good hiking recommendations and hello, who wouldn't want to say they stated in the badass Wonda the Wonderbus!!!! Book a stay here, it will be the best thing you do this year :)
Had a great long weekend in Wanda the Wonderbus! The location was nice and secluded but also a short drive to anything we may have needed! The hosts went out of their way to welcome us and make sure we were taken care of! I’d love to take a second a trip sometime soon!
Wonderful time on and around wanda!
We had a lovely little weekend on Wanda the Wonderbus at Barely Do Farm! Pete and Cristina were amazing hosts and their property is peaceful and lovely. Wanda is just the coolest and the fire pit outside of the bus made for a great camping experience. We paid to do a tour of the farm, met the animals, and got a dozen eggs which we cooked the next morning for breakfast on Wanda.
In these COVID times, this trip was perfect and the only shared thing was an outhouse with one other campsite. We hope to return soon! Thanks for a lovely time and great memories.
Very private, nice/helpful hosts. Listing should say 4 wheel drive needed to get to the ridge where bus is located. Host drove us to the top but would have been helpful to know ahead. Also no running water as we thought
Wanda has been beautifully refurbished and we enjoyed our two night stay at Barely Do Farm. The owners are kind, gracious hosts and gave quick responses to our questions and requests. To access the site you may need assistance from the owners, unless you have a 4-wheel drive vehicle. The dirt road to the camp is steep! We managed to bring our supplies up with a grocery cart, but it was not easy (and I wouldn't want to do it twice).
We noticed that the mobile webpage provided more complete information about the listing than we were able to view on the computer. That may be a temporary issue, but check it out if you are planning a visit.
This glamping bus is probably one of my favorite Hipcamp experiences so far. Only 2 hours from philly, it’s a relatively painless drive for what you get.
Arrival instructions were accurate. We were able to get our old Toyota up the incline to the upper sites, but it’s only for the adventurous if you only have 2WD. Otherwise you can park at the bottom of the incline, it’s a short walk up.
The bus has everything you need. Having a fridge instead of needing a cooler is great, and the stove is useful for cooking if you don’t feel like cooking over a fire. Loved that AC is an option, we used it on one particularly hot night. Also, the outdoor shower is great for cooling off during the day when it a super hot. This bus is used frequently by its owners, which shows in The details and how well stocked it is with things you’d need.
Setting up hammocks in the trees near the ridge and reading in the shade and breeze coming off the ridge was blissful, exactly what we were looking for to destress.
The outhouse was new, clean, and smelled great! It’s shared between the upper campsites.
We also had a blast meeting the animals and eating rame fresh eggs! Would highly recommend those extras. Their firewood bundle burned well, there’s also plenty of wood laying around if you like to forage.
