Absolutely an amazing experience. It was one of the most unique/cool things I’ve done in long while. It’s on a legitimate farm, so expect your typical barn animal noises. The pond was amazing, had a fire next to the water. Definitely coming back again, Carrie was a great host.
Was an amazing holiday getaway.
The wife and i were hoping to get away for the holiday weekend, we both agreed on staying at the loft.. and the weekend would have only been better had the fish been more cooperative 🙂.. the loft is at it says.. an open air loft in a barn, the loft offers places to sit and sleep , also for your use is the mini fridge microwave toaster oven and toaster with a rather very nice ice box off to the side.. a tv with dvd player is also there with a couple dozen movies that you can roll into the bed area, with has a nice mosquito net which was a nice touch. So weather permitting you can make your meals at the camp fire site by the pond or inside .. we did both many times over. The interactions with the animals made our stay so much better than we could have imagined, would definitely recommend the walk with horses. Carrie and her husband Khalil were very welcoming and patient with us, they were very knowledgeable and answered so many of our questions along with Dave who happened to be there was also very helpful and patient. The added outside shower was awesome and felt great. We will definitely be making another trip or several back to revisit this interesting getaway. It is a working farm so Carrie and Khalil are almost always busy on a project as farming is one of the most demanding jobs you can take on, but they do make the time to chat with you and share their knowledge about what it is that they do there. We thank them for a wonderful weekend getaway.. and a plus for the duck and chicken eggs we left with😁.
