Wendy's place is very well located near the Oregon Country Fair and you can even get there from her place through back roads and avoid major traffic, which was a huge plus. We booked our stay with the intention to go to the fair and it worked out perfectly.

Wendy greeted us warmly and showed us several locations where we could set up our tent. We chose a spot that's nestled in between trees because it was a very hot day when we arrived and a shady spot was ideal.

We were also close to the trailer where there was a fully stocked kitchen, including a fridge (which was so handy), as well as a shower. Nearby was also a porta potty and everything was kept very neat and clean.

There were also a few other buildings on the property that were being rented out, so we got to meet and chat with other Fair goers. The property is also close to the road so we could hear cars going by sometimes, but we weren't bothered by it because the road meant an easier access to the Fair. However, if you're looking for a secluded/private getaway, this might not meet your expectations.

Wendy also has two very friendly goats we enjoyed hanging out with. She warned us they escape their area sometimes but that didn't happen to us while we were there.

All in all, we had an enjoyable time and glad to have affordable, cool, quiet, and low key spot to rest during the Oregon Country Fair.

We were free to choose any spot we liked to camp and we chose this one for the cool shade under the trees. The kitchen inside the trailer had everything we needed and was very clean and tidy. We cooked dinner here and washed our dishes. One of Wendy's friendly goats leaning in for a neck scratch. The common area shared by campers.

There is a neat little group of structures that Wendy has assembled on her property. I didn't meet anyone else while I was there (the other guests arrived later and I'm a super early bird), but it was neat to see the different tiny homes, RV and yurt. The camping space was simple and the classic PNW landscape always blows me away. There was a communal space RV, with a stove for making dinner and great couch to hang out on, etc.

Classic PNW trees are way impressive to meThe campsite was a little flat area, somewhat nestled between a half circle of farther spread of tiny houses, RVs and yurtsThis is the communal RV, with a shower and sink, propane stove, table and benches for eating and a couchIt's not so so close, but I was on a road trip and spent my morning at Smith Rock climbing before heading to Wendy's spot. If you're in Oregon and a climber, you should definitely check it out

The host, Wendy, was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and even let us use her camping supplies. The site, however, was not what we expected. Although it is listed as 4 acres, there is only a half acre of usable campground, at most. Think of this spot not as a private campsite, but as a communal outdoor living space. We felt completely safe and were able to social distance, but be prepared to be in close proximity to other people and structures. To have enough space for our large tent, we had to camp was on the lawn directly next to her house. Also, the goat was friendly but was an aggressive beggar.

We enjoyed our stay here. The people were great. Very friendly and accommodating. The goats and cats were great too. Lots of fun to play with. The property is still being worked on, but it has lots of potential.

Such a great place! Super friendly and helpful, even let us use their yurt to cook dinner on a propane stove. Definitely would recommend if you’re spending time in/around Eugene !
