Our property is located within the Umatilla Indian Reservation along the Umatilla River just 10 miles from the Umatilla National forest where fishing and hiking trails are available. We have 121 acres, 20 acres are flat level pasture were camping is available but you are welcome to hike the remaining 100 acres of hill side and forest if you feel like exploring. There is a seasonal spring creek on the East side of the property and some amazing views from the top of our property up and down the river valley in both directions. When they are in season we have an endless supply of blackberries and elderberries you are welcome to pick and its a short drive to the top of tollgate if you are wanting to pick huckleberries. Along with the berries in the summer/fall, in the spring Morell mushrooms can be found on our property as well. The Wildhorse Casino and the city of Pendleton is a short 30-40 minute drive away with great food and fun activities like slot machines, card games or the underground tours. This is a working ranch so there will be cows sheep turkeys and other animals in the pasture, please close the gate after you enter or exit. We have some railroad tracks across the road from the pasture but they rarely use the horn in the valley unless an animal is on the tracks.
