Magickal forest and fantastic host!
My stay at Wild Commons Village went above and beyond my expectations!!
At first meeting
William enthusiastically showed us around the land, and giving great stories of the long term goals of it! The camp site was huge and private, the ground was really comfortable to sleep on too!
William went out of his way to take care of the smallest details during our stay such as lighting the path before we'd come back from the beach and even left a wonderful little thought for my birthday!
You truly can hear the ocean from the site, along with brds and daytime creature. The night is peaceful and falling asleep to ocean sounds was EXACTLY what I was hoping for.
We had fires at the communal firepit, ad invited him to join us. We all got to exchange stories, song and conversation throughout the night and now I truly feel I have a place to bring friends and build an extension of community!
I will DEFINITELY be back and highly recommend staying here if you can snag a spot!
OH!!! Also, there is a wonderful little community kitchen area that you can cook up your meals or maybe have a little water boiled for tea or coffee!
It was tough to leave, and I know I'll be back there for my coastal camping needs.
I'm deeply looking forward to see how the progress of this land/community project goes!! BEST wishes to you guys and thank you for so very much for the absolute care and hospitality you showed
Wild, one with nature, peaceful
William was an absolutely amazing host and super thoughtful. He prepared the community fire pit area everyday so we could have a wonderful easy going fire at night. Gave great directions and descriptions of the land and where it's heading for the future. Really excited to come back and stay! I felt so welcome and comfortable there and absolutely wild over Wildcommons!
So much more than what we expected
We had a wonderful experience at The WildCommons Village! Every aspect of the camp has been well thought out. William puts care into his work at the village. He is knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about what he’s doing. The site is tucked back in to the beauty of the woods. It is quiet (we could hear the ocean) and cozy. The ground is soft enough to sleep on. There are many places to put a hammock. The bathroom facility is well designed and convenient. You could easily spend all your time enjoying camp, but if you’re wanting to visit the beach, you couldn’t be closer! The fire pit even has a sand ring. We felt spoiled and at peace. If we visit the Oregon coast again, we will gladly return to The WildCommons Village without hesitation! It’s in the early stages so we look forward to seeing how the area develops.
Lovely site, i think i may have bee
I stayed in the Ferngully/glen site.
A 50 yard winding narrow private walk, Across the creek through the woods fairly level
Lovely, I think I may have been the first camper in this site.
