If you are comfortable being around animals and enjoy that environment , this place is perfect. I work with farm animals for my job and I loved that aspect of it. There were lots of different places to set up and the land is gorgeous.

we came with our RV and parked in a flat and shady area from where we could see the animals. We put our table outside and had a great time.
As we were full with gray and black water, we used the amenities there. It was like living in a farm, always surrounded by animals with basic but enough comfort. We came for the animals but we also really enjoyed interacting with Helen and her husband while they were doing their chores.
We were lucky to have arrived a bit before 5 pm and my kids were able to bottle feed the goats and the cows.
Don’t except it to be a glamping experience but more a meaningful one. Remember that All proceeds help them fund the sanctuary.

We had lots of fun hanging out and petting the animals. Very friendly critters. Helen was super nice also. We even got to bottle feed baby cows and baby goats! Bring earplugs because the animals have lots to say in the early morning!

What a unique experience with an authentic and knowledgeable host (Helen) and a menagerie of needy animals; The store USA each of the animals has is horrific and Helen and team are there to care for them. Hands on (or off if you want to). Highly recommended. Like all other reviews, this is not glamping;, just an authentic and noble experience.

This was an incredible experience and meeting a Super human like our host Helen was a true honor. She is so down to earth but one of the strongest, hardworking and humble people I have ever met. These animals are her life. We met goats, pigs, chickens, cows, horses and turkeys. Helen introduces us to each creature and when asked gave us their stories. She has created a sanctuary for nearly 200 animals and knows each one of their names, personalities and needs. I am truly inspired by such an amazing woman and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Helen asked if we wanted to bottle feed two of the calves in the morning and we jumped at the chance. All the animals live in harmony with one another and Helen has truly saved each of them with her unconditional love and hard work. Helen you are an angel. :)

What a wonderful experience! We loved every minute of our stay at Sunset Farms. Helen and Brian are the best hosts, always hospitable and kind and attentive to anything we might need, while also accomplishing their never-ending work on the farm. We especially loved meeting all the beautiful animals, and we look forward to visiting again in the future. Thank you so very, very much!

Helen is doing incredible work! She was so kind and friendly. The accommodations are nothing fancy and all the fun! Simple uncovered gravel spots to pull up a few vans or an RV and sleep near/among the animals. Be ready to wake up early by the sounds of rooster and birds clucking. Such a special spot away from the city and amongst some sweet little healing creatures! Would stay again for sure!
