#5Campsite , We developed these sites with lots of sites (listed separately). 5 of our sites also have 2 stalls each for camping with your horsey companions, the rest are for regular camping. Most campgrounds have campers right on top of each other, ours gives you room to hike, see the wildlife, trees and room for privacy just down from Crater Lake. In this 450 acre ranch, 5 acres is for campsites and tipis. So we are only putting 10 sites up for camping and 2 are teepee wildflowers, you have space to 'be' here, and that's how we plan on keeping it. We just have a dirt road, and no electricity, all is solar in our desire to keep compatible with the national forest that we are beside. The norm here is to hear the buzz and whir of hummingbirds, dragon flies and and birds of all kinds. You can see the stars at night, and hear cows off in the distance, and since we are beside Crater Lake Highway, we are an easy distance to Crater Lake, so you will hear some traffic now and then. But the road is blocked by many very tall pine and cedar and juniper trees. You are across the street from Pelican Butte, a beautiful mountain range, and also see Agency Lake off in the distance. We now have a propane shower (SOLAR which means that it only works when the sun is directly on the panel from 9am-6pm approx.) for our campers, check out a towel with us and shower for free with your campgrounds fee.

If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
We had a nice stay at our site in July. Kori greeted us with a smile and showed us to our campsite. The forest fires near Crater Lake made things a bit smokey and it was quite hot during our stay. Mosquitoes were out in force, so bring bug repellent! Things were really dusty around the camp given the very dry conditions. Road traffic could be heard, but it wasn't too bad (and I'm a light sleeper). All in all, we all had a great time.
