About Eclipse Camping & Celebration
With a cool breeze off the river and a cherry tree to pitch your tent under, the orchard around Stomp is a beautiful place to camp. Away from the ambient lights of the city, the meadow in front of Stomp provides a clear view of the sky and promises to be a spectacular spot to see the total solar eclipse!
We will have Andrew Duhon here to perform a concert Sunday night. There will be lawn games set up to play, a wine tasting area where you can sip a glass wine, a food truck, beer on tap and nonalcoholic drinks available. Then Monday morning we will all be out to watch the total eclipse of the sun!
There are a limited number of tent sites available. We have rented portable bathrooms with showers for your comfort. There will be a grill accessible to everyone or you can bring a camp stove. The orchard is located on the Willamette River, any swimming or water sports will be at your own risk, no water equipment or lifeguards will be provided. We are located about 4 miles from Independence Oregon and 7 miles from Salem Oregon on the Willamette River. The campsite rental includes eclipse viewing glasses, a reusable wine glass and admittance to the Andrew Duhon concert on Sunday night for all our campers!
In the path of totality the orchard surrounding STOMP is the place to camp, reserve your spot today!
