Exceeds all our expectations!
We are very grateful to have spent two nights at Connie and Lee's Ranch. The camping area has an amazing sunset view of the ranch and the most breathtaking night skies. It is also very clean and equipped with water and electricity hookups, and fire pit area with picnic chairs. Connie and Lee were very accommodating- they greeted us upon our arrival, provided essentials that we forgot to bring, introduced us to their horses, cats, dog, and chickens, and taught us so much about farm life. We cannot wait for our next trip to the ranch.
The property was gorgeous and relaxing. Connie was more than accommodating and kind. My partner and I stayed for a night and were greeted warmly by the horses, Connie brought us a couple of fresh hatched eggs from her chickens, we snuggled with her sweet kittens, and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet. Highly recommend (for any reason) and if you are doing any hiking in the area.
We can't say enough about Connie, her husband and their beautiful ranch. They were so gracious in chatting with us about their ranch and breeding horses. They are simply thoughtful people who are such a welcomed delight during our travels. (Connie even gave us a few fresh eggs from their chickens!)
Connie and “the husband” lol we’re absolutely fantastic hosts. Friendly, welcoming, but observant of the fact that we needed just some peace this trip. It was beyond magical! I watched a baby horse (there are several by the way) legit kiss my fiancé!! There are kittens and beavers too apparently, oh and the sweetest deaf corgi!!! It was magical... epic sunsets over rolling hills and actual purple mountains. there are 360 degree views of farmland and forest. Not to mention. Silver falls is literally 15 min away. We were able to take our time in the morning AND beat the crowds to the parking lot. Our stay was everything we could’ve imagined and more. If you’re into the night sky, the stars out there are also magnificent. We will for sure be back to explore more and visit our new animal friends. Thanks again!!!
