Nearly everyone that comes here to visit or buy goats or eggs say "This place is beautiful"! And I always agree and will never take it for granted. Living here is a blessing and it gives me great pleasure to be able to share it with others especially children that still have that sense of wonder and awe. Especially in these days of  electronic distractions.

Although Dancing creek is only about 15 minutes off of I-5 the feeling is remote. It is mostly forested and steep in places. A short walk uphill will usually give you cell phone access (especially with Verizon). But otherwise you can amerce your senses in nature!

Bachelor Creek runs thru the bottom. In summer it is a small meandering creek well shaded to keep its water cool for the health of the cutthroat trout, salamander, and many other species that depend on it. It is mostly shallow with many good access areas that are fun and safe for children to enjoy its splendor.

For the adventuresome a hike up the creek will bring you to the beaver dam and lodge where you might catch a glimpse of the resident beaver or hear it slap it's tail as a warning to others upon your arrival.

There are several dirt/gravel roads to walk or you can hop on one of the many cow or goat trails and take an adventurous hike thru the woods up to the meadow where you will find wild turkeys, deer, quail, and occasional coyote to name a few.

Dancing Creek is a working farm with a small herd of cattle and goats. They may wander thru on their way to better brows or grazing so be on the look out for the occasional cow pie. All of the livestock are friendly but mostly mind their own business. The goats are usually accompanied by Yeti the livestock guardian dog that protects them from predators. Yeti is very friendly and will probably want to be petted. She regards all of us as her family and is dedicated to protecting us from scary predators. It is fine to pet her but she should be encouraged to stay with her goats (so please don't feed her or any of them, Thanks).

It is an honor to share this little piece of heaven with you and please feel free to ask any questions about the local flora and fauna. I can help you identify many of the plant and animal species and perhaps do an occasional nature walk with you.

The location is easy to get to from I-5 but very secluded. We loved seeing the farm animals, lots of goats and cows. We took a hike to the top of the ridge with a great view of the valley. Ron is a very friendly and helpful host. The sites are newly established with a nice picnic table and a hammock.

Ron was a great host, we really enjoyed our stay at Dancing Creek Farm, the campsites were spacious, well maintained and even had picnic tables. Ron met us at the egg shack, by the main road into his farm, we passed through a livestock gate and then along a well maintained dirt road to the camp sites, we had out pick of sites and chose camp site 2, which was perfect for our two tents. Ron gave us a tour of his farm treated us as family. Truly a wonderful experience, we hope to return soon.

Ron was a great host. He was very friendly and responded to all questions. He was at the gate to greet us when we arrived, even though it ended up being a bit later than anticipated.

Leapin Lizards this campsite was amazing
We were met by Ron who is as charming and helpful as it gets. Coming from California, No phony baloney of $100. Nite sights and super easy to reserve
Looking to really have a camping experience we found this the perfect setting
Quiet, extremely secluded, and a sky full of stars
I was very sad to only have 1 night there.
To make an even greater experience, while making morning coffee, a herd of goats passed by on the road heading back to their barn by a beautiful working herd dog. It was awesome to watch and experience.
We loved our campsite and Dancing Creek Farm.
We will definitely be back if not this year definitely next. Only next time we will book for a week and either lay in the hammock all day or hike
Thank you Ron and Hipcamp

We had a great time camping at Dancing Creek Farm! We stayed in Site 2 and loved the shady trees and rushing sounds of the creek. At night the stars were gorgeous! We were blessed with a visit from the adorable herding dog one morning. I only wish we had time to stay longer and see more of the area.

Thanks for the review Bryce! Had to deal with a water issue while you were here (air lock in the line maybe) hope you didn't need water while it wasn't running. See you up ahead!

This a a great secluded location. We were passing through the area and only stayed one night. Ron met us upon arrival and was so kind and helpful. He helped situate us in an ideal location for our family. It is really evident that Ron finds joy in hosting campers by his attention to detail in the entire camping area. We were so blessed to share this land.

Ron was amazing! He was responsive and super accommodating. It was pouring rain, so Ron graciously offered to let us stay in his extra cabin. We would definitely love to come back!

Ron's land was lovely and he was pleasant and helpful. The sites were simple and basic. Site 2 is lovely, right next to a bubbling creek.
