This was an absolutely perfect find! Just secluded enough to feel like you are away from everything, but with all of the comforts of home. Kinda hard to explain, but definitely had a bit of vintage motel mixed with camping lodge mixed with bed & breakfast. Beautiful grounds with direct riverbank access. Interior was a hip vintage eclectic mix of decor and felt super comfy. Kitchen was awesome and well-stocked for a couple stay-in meals we prepped. And can't enough about the hosts -- SUUUUUPER nice and really paid attention to make sure you had everything you needed. Oh -- nice bonus that they totally were not just pet-friendly, but pet lovers.

Grassy area out front for dogs to venture around. River exploration with the pups. View of the private patio area overlooking the river. River exploration.

Rogue River Retreat was a wonderful roadside motel on the Rogue River. For Hipcamp it's a welcome break from tents and outdoors, but it's not the Ritz. It's in the woods, nature is all around and even indoors, the bugs will make themselves known.

Grounds are great. Kevin, the host is helpful and kind. Highly recommended
