WELCOME!! My wife and I would like to welcome you. We both have a wandering souls that have lead us on many adventures. Now we would like to share our place on the Nehalem river. It is over 2 acres, with a ton of water frontage. It is rustic so do not expect a perfect down town condo! This is in the trees. There are spiders, some flies, (not many) really no mosquitoes, but there are noseeums. You will possibly wake up to a spiders web in the window, (we do not like spraying poison) but we do get rid of them. This is the woods but we have never had problems with ticks, or any of the other really creepy bugs. The salmon will be swimming up the river in the early fall, you can watch them go through the rapids on either side of the property. There is great trout fishing, cutthroat, rainbow trout and many other species are here. There are many hikes like the difficult saddle mountain, down to the very easy within minutes from the door. There is a great little grocery store with a wonderful bakery, 2 restaurants, and a great drive-through coffee shop within 5 miles. Please be sure and let us know if/how many pets. (maximum of 2 pets) We really hope you enjoy our neck of the woods!

Red River Cabin Relaxation!

My son and I had such a relaxing time at this little cabin. Hiking, fishing, crawdad catching, hot tubbing and a huge tv. Something for everyone. A perfect getaway to rest and rejuvenate. Highly recommend and will be back

Serene River Cabin

I had a fantastic time staying here. The cabin was everything I needed, and the deck with soaking tub and gas fire place overlooking the river was exquisite. Victoria and John were both very helpful and responsive. If you have the chance, I highly recommend kayaking the calm waters.

Cozy cabin, relax with the dogs!

Wonderful site, cozy and comfortable cabin with just the right amenities to make life easy but still feel like you’re camping (sort-of). Very relaxing and chill environment and the hosts are friendly and accommodating. The family and dogs had a great time getting away for the weekend.

Jon and Victoria's land was great! The red cabin is cozy, well stocked and super cute. Great views, river access and the birdsongs was amazing. John and Victoria were great hosts. Highly recommend.

Red river cabin

The cabin was cute, and the kayaks where a great addition for a mini adventure. The hot tub wasn't working unfortunately and made for a chilly dip. The bedroom didn't have a window, which meant complete darkness for sleeping. There was nice touches like coffee and citronella candles and the fire pit was amazing. While we didn't see anyone else, there is some train car storage containers very close that had lights running and the door open which felt a little odd but overall this was a great overnight away from the city.
