Rainier Heritage Farm has a wonderful history. Once a working dairy, it’s original barn was built during WWII. Now under restroration, this farm sat fallow and forgotten for 11 years prior to Charlie giving it the love and attention it deserves. Charlie is a 4th generation rancher working hard to create sustainable & holistic grazing practices for his cattle, pigs, and bees. By staying with us, your helping to keep small independent farm families economically viable in a country dominated by large factory farms. Thank you for choosing our farmstay. We hope you have an amazing time and have an authentic connection to our animals and or our land!

Serene Camping on Working Farm
This campground is so great! We wanted to camp with a bit of space and privacy. This campground was perfect. Our host, Charlie, is very nice and gave us a tour of his ranch. He’s got the sweetest pigs and piglets and a little cow. We will definitely camp here again.

Serene Camping on Working Farm
The camping was great, you can camp in the big meadow or in the woods just off the meadow, where the creek and swimming hole are. Plenty of space. The real highlight was the farm and Charles himself. We got a tour of the farm animals, mostly pigs, (who have so much personality) and he is passionate about caring for them well. He was just a fascinating person to talk to about his approach to raising cattle and pigs, and he's the nicest guy. Would go back again, and will legitimately be a repeat buyer of food from Rainier Heritage Farm. Not that he pushes it--I asked. Come see this place!

Serene Camping on Working Farm
Wonderful caring host with a property that offers privacy by the creek in the forest and/or educational opportunities on the farm. Our kids said it was their favorite camp experience ever and we hope to return for a second visit before the end of the season.
