Perhaps the most fun and outgoing farmers as hosts greeted us, making us feel super welcome! They gave us a ride through their endless acreage farm, down into the perfectly manicured campground. This place is perfect for a family; with a human foosball court, ginormous and luxurious fire ring, 2000+ year old tree that looks over the entire campground, and a watering hole that you can swim in just a stone’s throw into the forest that lines the site. We fully enjoyed our visit, and even got to meet the new piglets, dogs and super sweet horse. I’d recommend this to anyone! These guys go over the top to make sure their campers are set for an awesome experience.

Charlie was a fantastic host and even took time out of his busy day to show us around his beautiful farm. This was our first hip-camp experience and I couldn’t recommend Charlie’s campground highly enough. Fantastic stay 5 stars!

Charlie was an amazing host! He made us feel totally welcomed right when we drove on to his property! This was my boyfriend and I our first experience with hipcamp so we were totally worried if this was a legit host or site to book on but we are so happy we got to stay at Charlie’s farm!

The camp site is located in a different private area on his farm site. Depending on who books with you ( lon the same day you might be camping with either yourself or 3 other family in the secluded camp grounds). You can camp anywhere. There’s only one portapotty and a huge fire pit here! Highly recommend staying here! Everyone who camped at the site was super friendly to us :) there’s even a little creek behind the trees on the campground that you can explore!

Don’t forget to meet up with Charlie so he can give you a tour of his farm!!! He let me feed a baby calf and his baby pig!!! Super cool experience and you could see how passionate Charlie was about farming. Thank you Charlie for letting us stay in your home, and teaching us so much about your lovely animals and work! It was a wonderful experience for us and we will definitely book again with hipcamp because of you!!!!

P.s, this place is super dog friendly and even lets you bring your dog on the farm tour!!!

Wonderful caring host with a property that offers privacy by the creek in the forest and/or educational opportunities on the farm. Our kids said it was their favorite camp experience ever and we hope to return for a second visit before the end of the season.

The camping was great, you can camp in the big meadow or in the woods just off the meadow, where the creek and swimming hole are. Plenty of space. The real highlight was the farm and Charles himself. We got a tour of the farm animals, mostly pigs, (who have so much personality) and he is passionate about caring for them well. He was just a fascinating person to talk to about his approach to raising cattle and pigs, and he's the nicest guy. Would go back again, and will legitimately be a repeat buyer of food from Rainier Heritage Farm. Not that he pushes it--I asked. Come see this place!

This campground is so great! We wanted to camp with a bit of space and privacy. This campground was perfect. Our host, Charlie, is very nice and gave us a tour of his ranch. He’s got the sweetest pigs and piglets and a little cow. We will definitely camp here again.
