Weekend/weekday get away with indoor and outdoor activities ! God's Promise Garden's RV spots include a 30' X 70' Grange type hall with some arcade style games, restroom with tub and shower, and kitchen. Rain or shine, get away for a refreshing time. The RV Garden Spot is situated by three gardens on our ranch: A heavenly scented and restful flower garden with hanging basket seats and swing; a peaceful rose garden with stream and fish pond complete with goldfish and koi; and a fruitful vegetable garden. In fair weather, enjoy moseying through our 13 acres of century old oaks, swinging in antique tree swings with amazing views, and picnicking in our private park or playing a round of 20-hole miniature golf. This is a working ranch with goats and nearby cattle. Therefore, we have livestock guard dogs whose job it is to bark at coyotes and let them know that they are not welcome on our property. Expect to hear the dogs warning potential predators to stay away, especially at night. Our ranch is located less than 30 minutes from the picturesque and historic cities of Silverton, and Mount Angel. Nearby nature attractions include Silver Falls State Park, The Oregon Gardens, Champoeg Park, Feyrer Park and many more. To the north you can enjoy the scenic town of Estacada and its many nearby city, county and state parks for boating, hiking, fishing, and site seeing. We are also a short, breath taking, hour and a half drive to either Hood River and Mount Hood recreational activities or the beautiful Oregon coast.

Bill and Rachel were awesome hosts! They have three cute gardens that allowed our kids to roam and explore flowers, vegetables, and other neat decorations. The putt-putt course was clever. There are goats and farm dogs and farm cats and everyone is happy to be there. The sunset views were fantastic. Hookups were easy, just in front of the RV spot.
We were able to try out a couple different cellular services with our cell phones, and had great connections on all.
We recommend this place and would come back when we have the chance.
Thank you Bill and Rachel for a wonderful stay!

Rachel and Bill were very welcoming and their farm is just beautiful. The space is lush and relaxing, we so enjoyed our time spent on their property.

View from the tea garden! Here’s the campsite. Park in the driveway next to this lawn and enjoy the koi pond and the tea garden. Beautiful scene from the swing!Mini golf holes on the farm we’re a big hit with our little one.

Our family of four (two little kids) came to God’s promise for the weekend.
It is a nice, flat spot that is very easy to set up on. Electrical and water if needed.
Rachel’s gardens are beautiful. She even shared some of her fresh produce and a recipe that her family loves. We loved it too.
Bill and Rachel were wonderful hosts and didn’t mind the kids pestering them around the farm. They we do gracious. There are farm cats to watch and goats with dogs keeping them protected. The dogs mainly stay with the goats as they are working.
There are benches and swinging chairs all around the property so you can enjoy the fabulous views from many vantage points.
This is working farm land. Expect to hear dogs barking, cows mooing and farm equipment during the day. The coyotes are busy at night. The guard dogs will and do bark if they feel the goats are in trouble.
An added benefit is the bathhouse. Rachel cleaned and sanitized a bathroom with toilet, sink and shower for our personal use during our stay. We provided our own towels and soap.
The spot is not shaded but it catches a wonderful breeze all day making it perfectly comfortable.
This was our first Hipcamp experience and are so happy how it went. I look forward to visiting God’s promise again. I felt so refreshed after just a few day’s visit.

Beautiful farm! We brought our 1 and 3 year olds for our older sons birthday. Hidden among a grouping of trees there was a 20 hole mini golf. An instant winner! We were able to play frisbee and shoot our plastic foot rockets on the open field. Rachel and Bill were more than accommodating. They invited us to make apple cider and gave us many tours of their farm. I hope my 3 year old will remember that trip forever!

A couple things that were different from what I expected. The site for full hook ups was right in front of their house. (Not very private since it’s right by the only driveway in and out of the property). Our trailer is tiny and really only for sleeping so our 95% of our camping is outdoors.
Also, the gravel at the site and everywhere you walked t wasn’t ideal for our 1 year olds knees.

I will say Rachel offered a different spot to set up camp but without hookups. If our 1 year was older, no AC/heat would have been fine.

We will most likely visit again!
