Totally secluded and private camping surrounded by Mt. Hood National Forest with Mt. Hood view!!

Group camping available on our 80 acre private property surrounded only by Mt. Hood National Forest. Beautiful meadow with stunning view of Mt. Hood and surrounding mountains. Camp in the meadow, wake up to deer and watch the sun rising behind Mt. Hood. Large communal fire pit. This is truly a unique camping opportunity for small or large groups. Feels like you are on top of the world away from it all. Great place to unplug and unwind...Year round creek access on property to cool off especially during the Summer months.

Our property is accessed through a 3 mile rough gravel forest service road with a few large potholes (during the spring months potholes can be filled with water and large ruts).

Vehicles with some ground clearance such as a truck or SUV recommended to navigate poorly maintained forest service road. Please see other campers' reviews regarding road...We've been traveling this road for several years and find it quite manageable ourselves (in a Tahoe and pickup truck) as we are familiar with it; however others have found it to be difficult.

Also please keep in mind: usually by August due to fire season we tend to be under a campfire ban.

Please contact me with any questions or concerns you may have before booking.

We had an awesome stay at Enola Hill Property at Mt.hood. Rachel was extremely easy to communicate with and gave us tips on where to go to get maps (Zig Zag Ranger Station) for all of the trails nearby, including the PCT. We spent some time at Skyway Bar and Grill, which is a really fun local spot. Her directions to the site were clear and concise. It was simple to get to like the listing mentions you will need a car with good ground clearance. The view of Mt.Hood was incredible, especially at sunset. They have an epic boulder fire pit, facing the mountain. Also, plenty of space to spread out, and a creek right on the property on the other side of the meadow. She provided tons of firewood, and a picnic table is there, you can sit around it with foldable chairs you bring or boulders you can use as chairs. We were able to bring our dogs and they loved roaming the property, which was a definite perk. Our tent was sandwiched between Mt.Hood and the canyon that was filled with low-lying fog in the morning which was breathtaking views to wake up to. You can tell this is a well loved, special spot. We were lucky to experience it.

Amazing place! My boyfriend and I were on a camping road trip around Oregon and decided to "splurge" on this location for the evening. It was 100% worth every dollar and I would recommend anyone who is reluctant to do it. It is absolutely gorgeous with incredible views, firewood, and a hammock. You have no one around you for as far as you can see. Thanks Rachel for the stay!

What a gorgeous property! We had such a great time in this secluded, tranquil, and relaxing site. Rachel was amazing to us. Plenty of firewood there for our 2 night stay. Although we made it work with a sedan, I highly recommend an SUV or a vehicle with decent clearance if you're not looking to damage your car. Regardless, we will definitely be back there again.

We spent Independence Day up on Enola Hill. The owner, Rachel, recommended it after we stayed on another of her properties a few weeks ago. Rachel is kind, helpful, and our experience on her other property was great. So we went for it, and are so glad we did! This is the kind of spot you hesitate to write any review about because you want to be able to book it when you want. It's a serene, secluded mountain meadow full of beautiful ferns, daisies, foxglove, with spectacular views of the peak of Mount Hood to the northeast and the mountains to the south. While we were there, the butterflies were out in full force, making you just wanna plop down in the middle of the meadow and watch them leap among all that benevolent flora. Who needs fireworks! (Please, don't bring any fireworks.) Plenty of dispersed spots to set up your tent, and some nicely-appointed amenities such as the picnic table, super-cool fire pit, and well-maintained pit toilet. I even loved the old, rusty tractor which provided more than a few moments of hilarity.

As others have stated, the USFS road is pretty rough. It's not as bad as some others I've been on, but I probably wouldn't try it in anything with a lower clearance. But, frankly, this would be a great spot to have someone drop you off on the Mt. Hood Highway, and hike the three miles up the road to the spot. Next time! .

It really doesn't get much better than this.

We wanted remote, quite and beautiful views - and we got all that and more. This place is by far one of the coolest places we've found on HipCamp. So cool we already have another trip planned here!

The stunning sunrise and sunsets with Mt. Hood in the background can't be beat. The open field with wild flowers and grasses are gorgeous. Our dog didn't stop zooming and smiling the entire trip!

The quiet, remoteness of the property made it an amazing place to relax by the fire in the epic fire pit, or take a hike down to the water. So excited to return!

Epic view!

Forget State camp spots, book your group camp here. We had almost 20 in our group and all shapes of vehicles made it up the forest service 'jeep' road. I made it in my 50 year old VW bus no problem. beautiful scene, clean toilet and an amazing host. You will be please with this private oasis with amazing view of Mt. Hood. Thank you Rachael for you over and above service.

This property was a camper's dreamland! Rachel was very friendly and gave us clear directions. As noted, the road was rough (about a 3 mile trek up the hill), and even in a CRV I had to be careful. The drive up in itself, though, was beautiful. We loved spending Labor Day weekend here! It was a very very hot weekend, so we ended up driving out on Saturday to escape to Trillium Lake for the afternoon, but it herwise we enjoyed exploring the property and relaxing on the hammock. The big picnic table was perfect for cooking and food prep. We would love to come back, especially when it isn't fire season, so we can take advantage of the awesome fire pit with views of Mt. Hood in the distance.
