This is a beautiful property with chirping birds, a quiet creek, and nature all around. We have two large fields, one designated for camping, the other for parking. A large pool, outdoor fire pit, and gas grill are all available for use.
A few dogs live here including a German Shepard who often roams the property. We can be available to assist with anything you need. Otherwise it's likely we will be around working on the farm and fixing up things around the property.
Other things to note
This 3400 square foot, single level home was designed for the owners of what was Salem's largest private employer by architect Robert Byrd and completed in 1954. It boasts a unique style and history shared with other Byrd homes located around Hollywood and built for celebrities. Byrd's designs often incorporate curved elements (windows, eaves, and walls) and extensive brick work. Many of the used bricks from a now demolished Oregon State Penitentiary show foundry marks from the 1860's and 70's. It is a working farm and has many on-going projects on the property as we continue to improve it for ourselves and our guests.
The property is 420 friendly.
We have one dog on the premises that is a little grumpy. Communication about your arrival time will ensure the old gal will be secure in the main house.

The vibe at Nature All Around Camping
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Don't know if this private campground is available when there isn't a total solar eclipse but we sure enjoyed staying there. There's a nice pool, dogs running around, lovely hosts, and a very relaxed atmosphere. Would be even better with showers, hot water in sink, and more than one portapotty.
This place was great! The hosts were very welcoming, and it was the perfect place to camp out and view the eclipse. Would come back in 80 years when there's an eclipse again!
