The hosts were very kind and welcoming! There was a lot of space for the two of us and our dog. It was nice being able to have her off leash to run around as well. The only thing is that the WiFi does not reach the camping spot like we thought it would BUT the hosts had no problem with us sitting close by for WiFi access :) we wish we had more time to spend there as it seemed like there was a lot to explore and we didn’t have time to float the river. Absolutely recommend this location!

Our family of four (plus dog) had a great 2-night visit. Hosts could have not been more gracious and helpful; provided extra long hose for hookup, free range of the beautiful property, and helped me out with a forgotten can opener. We never left the site, enjoying the peace and quiet, lovely riverfront swimming area and small waterfall.

We were greeted when we arrived and were directed to our site. The property is beautiful & well kept. The host are very friendly, accommodating and made themselves available for any questions. The property is about 20 minutes from Newport Beach which was a nice day trip. Each site is unique and has access to the creek & waterfall.
It is worth mentioning the site we stayed at was in an open field and provided less privacy than the other sites. That did not bother us and we never felt uncomfortable.
We will definitely stay again next time we are in the area.

Wonderful spot! About a 25 minute drive to watch the sunset in Newport. Josh and Nancy were incredibly accommodating to us upon arrival and throughout our one night stay. Porto-pots were clean, river across just steps from our camp. We plan to stay longer next time! They even went out of their way to call their preferred vet when we had concerns upon our arrival about our Dog (previous complication, nothing to do with the site). Thanks guys!!!

Beautiful location and attentive kind hosts. Enjoyed the affordable wood bundles on site, chairs, & floaties available for use. Easy drive to the coast & peaceful private place to camp away from the crowds. Enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again.

This is the first time that we have used HipCamp so I wasn’t sure what to expect. All I have to say is that Josh and Nancy were the most welcoming people I have ever met. From the first day we came we were greeted by Josh and shown the lay out. We had our 3 dogs with us and he even allowed us to use a fully fenced dog run so that our dogs could burn off steam. The River was so cooling and the dogs loved it just as much as we did. I cannot wait to go back!

Josh and Nancy went above and beyond to make sure my family and I had a great camping trip. Their place is a 2 day driving trip to me, but VERY worth it. Our site was a little more exposed that I would have liked, so we brought our pop-up tent and that gave us the much needed shade. I loved that the property had a stream running through it, my nephew enjoyed fishing while my niece enjoyed the tubes/pool floats. We will definitely be returning.
