Description
Since you’ll be spending most of your time outside near the base of Mt. Hood, why not stay outside? At Alpine Campground, five (or more) nights is comparable to the price you’d pay to cozy up to the Timberline Lodge for one night. Tough decision, we know. We’re assuming since you’re here, Alpine is your soon-to-be jam. If you haven’t been, this 16 non-reservable site campground is just one mile from the iconic lodge. At $20/night, it shares the same backyard (hello, nature!), and has an endless spicket of delicious mountain water. Once you’ve stamped the seal of approval, check the current conditions for off-season accessibility.
