The view of Mt. Hood. That’s what Instagram was made for, we’re sure of it. Get all the snaps you need from Hoodview Campground, one of four campgrounds surrounding nature’s water park, Timothy Lake. In between snaps, make sure to take in the sights (we mentioned Mt. Hood, right?), sounds, and smells of water splashing in your hair, or a trip around the 12-mile Lakeshore Trail! For the 411 on off-season accessibility, check the current conditions.

The gnats get nuts once the sun goes down, but besides that - absolutely beautiful place. People were kayaking and fishing all day.

This was the day-use area a half mile down. AWESOME rainbow trout fishing (we caught five)!

Don't go there if you're queer, a person of color, or a woman. And if you're not any of those things, you shouldn't go there either. The camp hosts are extremely hostile, verbally abusive and discriminatory against anyone who is not like them. Dangerous!
