This magical 10 acre property is conveniently located 5 miles north of Florence and directly on Hwy 101, approximately 3/4 of a mile from the ocean. This is a large private site that is surrounded by old growth timber and teaming with flora and fauna. Campers are encouraged to explore the numerous trails systems, but be aware, this property is wild.. and encounters with wildlife are common. For those really adventurous souls, it is possible to hike to Lilly lake, but it's very difficult and the wetlands surrounding it can be treacherous most times of the year. The property's surrounding the camp are mostly BLM, but we do have full time neighbors just to the North, so we ask that you be respectful and cautious with regard to dogs/noise- Hwy 101 can be very dangerous for unsuspecting pets. We offer unlimited campfire wood for $10/night, however, there are several roadside campfire stations(directly across 101 from camp) offering small bundles for $5-6/night. Beyond the adventuring that can be done on the property, Baker Beach state park is less than a half a mile away and there is a plethora of trails, parks and lakes within 10 miles. There is a spring fed creek that runs through the middle of the property and although clean, we wouldn't recommend if for drinking without treatment. However, we do ask that you use it to help extinguish campfires at check out. Relax and enjoy!

We loved our stay at Jason and Megan’s property. The space is very large and very private. Lots of amazing places to pitch a tent with tall trees - the sunlight filters in all day long. It’s very close to several beach access points and just a short drive down to Florence or up to Hecata Head. While the site is on a fairly quiet stretch it’s good to note that it is on 101, so be aware of car traffic. A nicely appointed fence blocks all view of the road. Would absolutely return to this very pretty corner of the world.
The land was beautiful but unfortunately over shadowed by how loud the road noise was. You’re camped about 40 yards from a busy highway with only a wood fence between you.
FYI by wildlife they do mean bears. We had two encounters with one and weren’t prepared/prepped for it, so make sure you cook and store your food further away from the tent and maybe bring bear spray.
I’d recommend this place if you were in an RV because as I mentioned the land is beautiful, but because of the road noise and unsafe wildlife I would not recommend it for tent camping.
Convenient location, beautiful forested lot next to Hwy 101. Private and plenty of space.
Lots of wood, spacious, lots of flats spots for tents, overall a great place to stay.
Just off the highway, this magical space feels untouched. There were numerous paths cut through the forest. I set up my hammock and watched the sun rise through the trees. Really, really lovely property.

A beautiful location, easy to find (see owners direction), near the beach and 10mins from the Dunes. Very exclusive location and by far the cleanest porta potty on our trip.
Beautiful spot!
Great spot to park our camper van for a few days- super ideal location for exploring north or south of Florence. Site was well maintained and good for our two dogs and 5 year old kid. It is close to 101 but the traffic dies off significantly at night and you hardly notice it.
Port-a-potty was definitely the cleanest one I’ve ever seen/used. Thank you for that!
I had such a wonderful time here. Jason and Megan made sure everything was available and comfortable. I heard the sound of the ocean waves more than the cars on the highway. Beautiful scenic views within a few minutes drive from the campsite. If I ever come back to Florence I know where I am going to stay.
