Description

Visit outside of hunting season and boom! Snagging a spot is easy as pie. Trek out when when the big game hunters flock into the woods and prepare yourself for a potential Plan B when seeking out a spot here. All spots at 12 site Rock Springs Campground include a fire ring sure to keep you toasty, picnic tables for your crew to convene at, and compressed gravel pads for prime parking. Here, hunters (and hikers) can spot big animals like mule deer and antelope, and the occasional big bird such as bald eagles, and golden eagles. And fishermen--despite its name, fishing is actually great at Poison Creek Reservoir, 4 miles away. Check website for closures.
