My husband, infant and I had the opportunity to stay on Daniel’s property. The site was great. Just what we needed for our truck camper. Had water and power hook ups. The meadow adjacent to the site was gorgeous equipped with picnic table. His lovely daughters made us homemade cards every morning. Also left gifts of hand picked flowers, fresh strawberries from their property and eggs from their chicken coop. Such a wonderful touch that made us feel welcome and at home.
As for the location, it’s set in a beautiful small town on the Oregon coast. We biked 3.5 miles out to the Floras Lake then hiked ~0.5 miles to the beach which was stunning. The perfect way to spend a day outdoors. Our daughter even got to dip her toes in the Pacific for the first time! The town only has a couple food stops which was fine with us since we had the camper. However, I do recommend stopping by the Langlois market for a famous hot dog or sandwich.

Lovely and cozy spot in “world famous“ Langlois, between Port Orford and Bandon on the Oregon Coast. The Meadow was lush with trees and flowers. Hung out with Daniel for a bit… Socially distant of course… And he was a great host supplying plenty of firewood and local tips for the area and beyond for my SoCal to Canada Road trip. There’s a cozy diner in town about a five minute walk from the meadow… The Spoon… And also the very cool Langlois Market. A great hideaway indeed!

Stayed at Daniel’s place on the way down the coast from Seattle. The spot was literally perfect - quiet, beautiful, and supplied with firewood and a perfect sunset! Would absolutely stay here again. Thanks for the quality experience and the wonderful communication!

It was a lovely secluded spot. Though just off the 101, it seemed like miles away. The roses growing on the split rail fences were particularly lovely. There are a couple places to eat nearby and a small, friendly grocery store.

Daniel gave us great directions to find his place and park in the dark. Very private site. He went out of his way to give us info about paddling nearby. Great experience. Thanks Daniel!

This is a really beautiful spot on the Oregon coast. It is a great location for exploring the southern part of the coast, while spending your evening in a secluded and well-maintained rural setting. The hosts were wonderful... very helpful, responsive and friendly.

It was our pleasure to stay at Daniel's Langlois Meadow Hideaway. We have a 25' Class C Motorhome that fit well. The space is level, comfortable, quiet, private and oh so beautiful. We had a lovely visit from a deer who we watched for a good hour while it grazed in the meadow one evening. The sunsets were fantastic. We loved visiting Langlois, Bandon and Port Orford. The Jam shop nearby has wonderful wine, snacks and of course, jam :-) We highly recommend this spot. Something to know, HWY101 is busy (cannot hear traffic from the site) and riding bikes to the beach is not an option.
