FANTASTIC. We stayed here for the eclipse. They were very responsive in emails leading up the event, sent detailed instructions on how to find the place. The space is BEAUTIFUL and everyone was very friendly.
Great place to get away from it all
We loved the ability to truly be away from everything. Great little pond at our site and wonderful natural frogs and crickets at night and distant cows on the hills. Nothing for miles around and just what we wanted.
Wide open spaces, big ponds, wetland birds singing at sunset, and such incredible colors. Catching this place when there's a storm off in the distance is really something special. Wished we could have stayed longer! A huge property with a few different campsites, so lots of potential to spread out. Tons of wildflowers, coyotes singing at night. Pretty magical.
Ok this was fantastic. We camped here for the solar eclipse. Fantastic location with wide open sky and view Mt. Jefferson and Hood. Hosts where fantastic. Best part was the hosts set up a slipeeee slide to help cool things down and boy was it a blast. Thanks again.
Peaceful weekend stay
Drove down from Tacoma, WA. There were plenty of small towns on the way down with the closest about 20-30 min away to get last min items like water or snacks.
Land was isolated, quiet, and peaceful. We set up right by the water. We took the little boat out and really enjoyed that. Wish we would have brought fishing poles bc the fish were going crazy. Tons of different birds flying around the bushes and trees surrounding the water too.
You can walk around the land. There wasn’t much but it was fun.
What we did? Camper, wine, music, wind, boating, food, bird watching, chilling with the pup. Overall great weekend.
Recommend: mosquito spray! The first night we got attacked, but the second night was really windy which kept them away.
We loved camping here. It was one of our most favorite camping spots! It was so beautiful and fun to watch the wild life on the lake and sit in the sun. The stars were incredible at night.
Super secluded and quiet. The host was very friendly and accessible. We can't wait to go back!
