This was our first Hipcamp experience and it far surpassed our expectations. Mariah and her family have a lot of love for their farm and animals. The grounds are a mixture of farm and forest. We enjoyed waking up to hooting owls and a blue heron flying by. The turkeys were more like dogs with their friendly nature. And we loved the pair of baby goats. Our daughter enjoyed kayaking in the pond with the pair of ducks. Thank you for sharing your home and hearts.

A friend and I stayed a single night at Just Bee Farms, and in that time were completely floored by what's available.
Upon arrival Mariah pointed out the multitude of animals (birds, goats, alpaca, etc...) on the farm. As we walked around, several things instantly became apparent. First, the place is pretty huge. Lots of land covered in soft grass/hay to lay on, which meant we were going to sleep great. 2nd, this is the perfect place for adults who want to play (fine for small people too). They had volleyball/badminton nets, rope swings/zip lines, tic tac toe areas with fancy rocks, and at least 3 other outdoor games that I didn't know the name of (including the one where you throw bolas at pvc structures). We were also offered to participate in milking the goats, or making ice cream from the milk. (I couldn't say no to the opportunity of fresh goat milk ice cream, which is absolutely phenomenal). Also, being such a large and easily accessible area - I think it'd be a perfect place to host larger events like family gatherings/weddings.
This was a second stop among many on a recent trip exploring the Pacific Northwest, and I'd highly recommend making a stop if you'd like to experience something new or simply looking for a very comfortable and easy night in the woods.

They also had large communal firepits and outdoor bar areas for everyone.Large flat dry lands to set up tents.A more casual rope swing, just as much fun for myself.Did I mention volleyball/badminton nets? Many many other games available too.

Mariah and Tim were fantastic! They came by the site to introduce themselves, be sure we had everything we needed and let us know a little more about the property.

We were camping with our young son (11mo) and he was able to meet all the animals at the farm. Its a beautiful property with some trails, a creek and a nice communal area with lawn games and picnic tables.

We would absolutely come back for another visit.

The farm and nature hike were very pleasant. My hosts were great. My small daughter and I had a wonderful time. There was plenty of room and it was great seeing the stars at night.

This farm was ideal for young kids! We are trying to introduce our 3 & 6yos to camping and here there were toys, a pond, a creek, and farm animals! Mariah and her family were lovely and welcoming, but gave us our space. We're recommending this spot to our other friends who are thinking of trying camping with kids!

This was my first hipcamp booking. I’ve been traveling the country for about four months and this was definitely one of my favorite places to stay. I felt so at peace I decided to extend my stay. Even their animals seemed calm! Met the chickens and conversed with the goats. The camp site itself was secluded from the others and felt very private. I now understand the benefit of hipcamp over public campgrounds. The drive from Eugene to the farm right around sunset was spectacular. Hoping to spend longer here on my next tour of the country. Take your time on the brief drive to the campsite on untreated ground because it will jostle you (I have a 13’ camper) but it’s well worth the jostle! Friendly and accommodating hosts :) Thanks guys for a perfect retreat!

Mariah and her family were gracious hosts. They have a lot of love for their farm and it shows. All of the extra little touches like lavender hand sanitizer, Q-tips and cotton balls in the outhouse were appreciated. The animals were amazing. The heritage turkey's acted much like friendly dogs and the ducks on the pond were an amicable twosome. The abundance of outdoor game options were wonderful (pool table, zip line, tic-tic-toe with rocks and badminton). We ended our stay with a walk on the nature trail that was wooded and peaceful. We look forward to returning!
