The vibe at Indian Moon Oregon

Beautiful property and just the quiet space we were looking for. Look for wildlife in the meadow! Directions are accurate but there’s no house number marker at the driveway (from the highway). Be sure to follow the written directions and if you’ve hit the 20 mile marker (coming from Ashland) you’ve just barely gone too far. The hosts were communicative and helpful! Very nice to have a water spigot and outhouse!
We had such a wonderful time staying at Indian Moon! Our hosts were incredibly hospitable and friendly. The camp area was beautiful, quiet and surrounded by trees and wildflowers. We were treated to night sky’s full of stars and the sound of frogs chattering in the nearby pond. The directions are a irate and it’s easy to find if you pay attention. There are plenty of trails and lakes nearby with endless hiking, fishing and swimming opportunities. We would love to stay again if we’re back in the area.
It was very peaceful and private. Dale met us when we got there and made us feel welcome and situated; after that we didn’t see anyone until the next day when we went to say goodbye. Super friendly hosts. Lovely meadow view and picnic table in a shady spot. They let us check out at our leisure which allowed a nice nap!
Gorgeous site and wonderful hosts!
This beautiful spot was exactly what we were looking for... gorgeous setting, total privacy, easy access and a great bargain! Our host was very responsive and respectful of our privacy while also providing great info about things to do nearby. The site is only a short drive from the stunning Lake of the Woods where we picnicked and kayaked. We have an 18 ft teardrop trailer which was easy to park at one of several lovely sites. Would absolutely stay again!
We had such a wonderful stay at Indian Moon! The site was extremely private and safe. It was gorgeous too--beautiful meadows with wildflowers, big trees, very well maintained property. We loved having the picnic table and there were plenty of great spots to pitch our tent. Dale was so kind and had super fast communication; we enjoyed talking with him and learning more about the local area. I highly recommend this spot and we hope to return again soon!
If you are looking for absolute peace & relaxation, In Southern Oregon, you have found the place! This is a perfect combination of meadow meets forest! Perfect spot for stargazing, especially with no moon. Dale & Vicky are great, friendly hosts. We will definitely be back!
Dale and his wife have a beautiful property that we got to share for a weekend. The outhouses were clean and well maintained. Our hosts were very accommodating and moved a 2nd table over in order better serve our large group. We plan to come back in coming months.
