Welcome to our small homestead located just 32 miles south of Bend. Our property is situated only just over a mile from the State Park and close to Paulina Peak for all of your boating, fishing, hiking, hot springs, biking and hunting needs. Bring your discs and enjoy our small disc golf course and your boats to enjoy nearby white water or gentle river floats.

You will be staying in our 27' RV that comfortably sleeps 4 adults and is stocked with all the essentials you should need. It has a private bedroom with one double bed and a full bathroom. The couch also folds out to make a bed along with the dining table. It's placed nestled up against some trees in a natural setting overlooking our large field which you have full access to and lots of privacy from the main house. The RV has a gas oven and stove along with a refrigerator, heat and a full bath.

We currently raise chickens, turkeys and even pigs depending on the time of year. Fresh eggs and home baked bread (when available) are provided along with coffee and juice at check in.

You'll have a full tank of water for bathing and cooking and we will also provide you with a gallon of drinking water on your arrival. If you should need more water during your stay were happy to refill the tank. You will also be provided with a full, large tank of propane for all your needs. More will be available for purchase during your stay if needed.

Dishes are provided though we encourage you to use the paper plates and bowls that are stocked so you can conserve your water. Please remember to recycle. Trash and recycle bins are available and convenient just outside the rv.

You'll even get to enjoy the deer and elk that come through almost nightly. We do not allow hunting on the property that way future guests can enjoy the wildlife. It's a perfect spot for star gazing and relaxing. There's even 2 hammocks and a fire pit for your enjoyment! If relaxing outside isn't your gig enjoy the xbox 360 and flat screen. The local mountains limit our tv reception so if you'd like to watch movies please remember your laptop!

Have a larger group coming? We offer our 10 person tent for rent that will be set up near the trailer for your convenience at an additional charge. If you would like this option please send an inquiry.

Please note that the nightly cost includes the cleaning fee.

Very cute, clean, and economical spot that provided me, my husband and 2 kids a home base for our forays into Bend. We spent 3 nights here. We didn't spend any time here during the day, but the evenings were nice and quiet, and the RV cooled down nicely (we didn't bother to use the a/c). Amy was an excellent and communicative host, and kindly provided fresh eggs, homemade bread, butter, OJ, and a gallon of drinking water when we arrived. There was lots of room for the kids to run, and they loved the hammock,

Amy, Charles and their two kids were so friendly and wonderful! My kids keep asking to go back and play. Amy had homemade bread waiting for us in the RV and there was anything you would need, really. Even a floaty for the lake. We really enjoyed our stay and feel like we made new friends.

We loved our cozy stay at Hillstead Farms RV. The hosts were fab and very helpful when anything came up and were great about giving us good tips for local attractions. The RV was very clean and comfortable. Beds were nothing fancy but beat tent sleeping for sure. Only thing that was an issue was how cold the fridge was! The host warned us about keeping drinks in there but it ended up freezing our fruits and veggies too :-/, and they had to get thrown out. Other than that small thing, that I’m sure can be fixed, it was a great little place to call our home while taking day trips out to explore the area- which is so full of cool things to see and do. I’d definitely recommend this place as a great option if you need a basecamp for exploring the La Pine/Bend area. Thanks so much!
