Campsite #4 We developed these sites with lots of room for privacy just down from Crater Lake. In this 450 acre ranch, 5 acres is for campsites and tipis. So we are only putting 10 sites up for camping and 5 are tipi sites,(listed separately). Most campgrounds have campers right on top of each other, ours gives you room to hike, see the wildlife, trees and wildflowers, you have space to 'be' here, and that's how we plan on keeping it. We just have a dirt road, and no electricity, all is solar in our desire to keep compatible with the national forest that we are beside. The norm here is to hear the buzz and whir of hummingbirds, dragon flies and and birds of all kinds. You can see the stars at night, and hear cows off in the distance, and since we are beside Crater Lake Highway, we are an easy distance to Crater Lake, so you will hear some traffic now and then. But the road is blocked by many very tall pine and cedar and juniper trees. You are across the street from Pelican Butte, a beautiful mountain range, and also see Agency Lake off in the distance. We now have a propane shower for our campers, check out a towel with us at the office and shower for free with your campgrounds fee.

My family and I were very pleased with this campground. The campsite was spacious and clean. Bob and Kori were amazing. They greeted us and helped us with any questions before and during our stay. Thank you so much for allowing us to have this experience.
Beautiful site - great night!
The ranch was easy to find from the road (big sign) and the campsites are just a bit further back from the main entrance. We were greeted by Kori and she made sure we had what we needed. She also told us about the horses they have (all beautiful and full of personality - many are rescues or adopted from people who can't give them a job anymore), the land, and about some of the local wildlife.
The property is beautiful! Tons of pine and wildflowers and soft grass. A woodpecker family was nested in the tree by our site and they kept looking in on us. So cute!
The campsite was clean (as clean as to be expected/possible in a forest) and we had our own picnic table and firepit. We cooked our dinner on the fire and then slept very soundly in our tent under the pines.
We just stayed the one night as a stopover on our way to Crater Lake, but it was absolutely a great time and when we head that way again, we'd love to stay here again!
Our group enjoyed our stay at this campsite, and it’s closeness to Crater Lake National Park. However I would not recommend during the heat of the summer months, the site didn’t have any shade and was very hot when we came back during the day. If you’re planning on being gone all day it could work! The hosts were very kind.
Outer crater lake campsite
Kori was a very gracious host - one of the nicest you'll find on your trek. Responsive from the beginning and very helpful with any questions we had. Site has 8/9 campsites - mix of RV spots and teepee spots. Shower, 2 potable potties, and wash area provided. Gets a little dusty but that's expected in these parts. Thanks!
