This was my first hip camp experience and didn't know what to expect. It was really a great experience; it was more private and peaceful than I expected. I didn't know if I'd have to share a table and toilet with other campers, but each site had its own. The hosts were very helpful and friendly, and I enjoyed meeting the goats, llama and dog. Frank the Cat was otherwise engaged in busy farm work when I arrived. The site is near the Buxton trailhead for the Banks to Vernonia trail and I rode my bike a few miles on that. When I returned to camp, I spent a couple of hours dozing and day dreaming in the hammock which was really delightful. I heard owls throughout my stay. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to get away from the city. One thing to keep in mind is the road getting to the campsite is really bumpy, so if you have a car that sits low to the ground, you might have a tough time. My minivan made it OK, however.

We had such a great time staying at the Oasis! The site was a perfect, secluded area down in Mark's pasture. There was plenty of shade, but also open areas where we could see the gorgeous stars at night.
Fire pit was perfect for cooking on, plenty of firewood provided at a great price (also a heavily wooded area we could collect our own in, as well), a fun hammock to relax in and a mini bathroom that was super handy to have close by!
We got to meet the baby goat, kitties, chickens, pups and geese as well - we were even sent off with some delicious homemade corncake! 10/10 would come back and stay here again - Thank you so much for having us!

We are so glad Hannah came and now we even have more animals we just got a cute calf and cow and one more coming in September
The camp site we stayed at offered some nice tree coverage with still an open view for stargazing. A fire pit, potty, and hose for water was nice to have. Site was nicely secluded but just a short walk/hike in from the vehicle. We really enjoyed our stay!

We Enjoyed Hope coming we specialize in offering peaceful, quiet and away from the city and other campers sites. Come get unplugged
Amazing! I first met Jenn on check-in and she is just simply open and completely welcoming. Gives good hugs too. Jenn walked me down to the site and showed me how everything worked. It was a great time to get to know her. The site was private as can be even though there were other campers in a near-ish site. The site was amazing with a hammock, fire pit (LOVE), portable toilet in a tent, solar shower (nice touch), rocking chair, picnic table, fire extinguisher, sand, water, drinking water, and the offer of a hose should i need one. Mark I met later as he stopped by to check in on me and let me know he was feeding the pigs should I want to join. Mark is an amazing guy, it was great to hear of his future plans for the property as it is truly amazing. If I needed anything I provided the phone number and cell number of the hosts. The property is just simply amazing. Big roomy sites, great pasture land, amazing trees, tons of space to explore on this farm. This was absolutely one of the best camping experiences I have had in a long time. I will be back.

What a great peaceful Guest he descrives our site well
Great hosts and a great private spot to camp. We all had a great time!

We are so happy you enjoyed yourself
The healing Oasis was a great place to stay. Beautiful private campsites. Mark and Jeniffer were awesome and acoomodating. They made us a wicked fire pit. You can sky watch and star gaze to your hearts delight. They offer fresh farm eggs, goats milk and bacon for a fair price. You can enjoy the surroundings and hang with the animals. A picnic table, hammock and camping toilet are all included in your personal site. Loved it and look forward to our return visit!

One of our favorite guests that we look forward to coming back soon. We have pastured pork,. (YOU will meet the Pigs ) eggs and of course firewood
A pleasure staying here. The campsites are secluded, surrounded by trees and serene. Next time I will look to play frisbee golf. The rain drove me to rent an affordable room, sit in the hot tub. And see visions in the Pandora star. Beautiful getaway for me and my dog.

We are right next door to Buxton woods disc golf course and close to Stub Stewart state park which also has a disc golf course and hiking. Emily was a great guest and decided to stay in one of our rooms at our home and retreat center which we also have available
Mark is a great host. I felt safe ( as a single female camper) on his land. The site was private and spacious. He provides spring water and a cool flushable camp toilet that is inside a privacy bathroom tent. For a fee he offers firewood. The space was clean and peaceful and also is near some paved hiking trails that I checked out.
I’m definitely going to book another camping date on his land soon.
It’s not far to get to Mark’s land; I would say about 40 minutes from Portland.

We are so happy you came Jude you were a great camper and fun to have
Great hosts! Had everything one could need except a shower. Might be available? I didn't ask. Had a hammock, table, fire pit, firewood, flushing portable toilet! Site was not level so I just put a couple logs under the table legs. Or I could have moved it, Mark said it was ok to move anywhere. He was very accommodating.

Thanks for coming Daley and bringing your sweet Dog. I just finished that campsite and generally let the first guest figure out where they want the picnic table. thanks for shimming it up it is much better and be great for the future guests.
