Happy trees, happy campers!
Jen’s campsite was perfect for what we were looking for. My partner and I were traveling the Oregon coast for Memorial Day weekend, and needed a spot to stay last-minute. The lot was clean, plenty of privacy, and even brought out a bistro table and chairs for us! The best part is that this spot is literally a block or two from the ocean, and the views are spectacular! Great spot to camp, especially if you’re there to explore!!
A little gem!
While I believe this is a RV spot, our lovely hosts allowed us to tent in this sweet lil lot which was just perfect for a couple nights stay. Green on three sides, the fourth is facing a cute house across the street. We faced our tent towards the woods, parked our car in front of our tent and felt well protected from the street. You can hear the cars on the main road about a half block down, however it was not intrusive at all. What really made this place a gem was the short stroll to private beach access. Beautiful beaches as far as the eye could see in both directions with barely a human in sight! This magical spot hit us right in the feels as we frolicked seaside with our dog. Ending the night around a cracking fire under the stars with the ocean crashing in was nothing short of spectacular. What’s more, its super close to town making it convenient to boot! If that wasn’t enough, our host was a breeze to communicate with and had heaps of thoughtful recommendations for things to do in the area. What’s not to love?! Do yourself a favor and coze on in, you'll be one happy camper!
Super easy to set up with host. Felt like a typical coastal campsite right off of 101 except there were no other campers. Host had campsite ready when I drove up. I’m a fairly private, introverted person and the host totally respected that. The beach here is amazing and I had it all to myself at 6:30 pm on a warm Saturday evening in August!
Great place to lay our heads.
This was a great place to lay our heads while we explored Yachats—one of our most beloved places on the Oregon coast. Easy beach access. Site is clean and level. Very private on three sides.
We expected some road noise and there was plenty during the day—holiday season traffic was heavy on 101. However, everything slowed way down in the evening. Although we are normally light sleepers, we felt very safe had no problem getting restful sleep.
Jen is wonderful and we’re very grateful for her hospitality!
This is a nice campsite right off 101. Private on three sides and open to the house across the street. We were able to tuck deep into the lot with our trailer camper and found it to be pretty private. You will hear hwy noise from 101 but mixed in there is the sound of the ocean which is two blocks away. We would definitely recommend this spot for low frills camping near the beach!
