SAFE CAMPING: Best Forest & Beach.
Not the best
The site was not well maintained and didn’t look much like the pictures posted. The directions to get there were helpful and accurate, but that was the only good thing. There were very few places to pitch a tent since most of the “field” was uneven, on a hill, and/or incredible overgrown with plants

SAFE CAMPING: Best Forest & Beach.
Easy stop near the coast.
This site is not nearly as remote as listing makes it sound. Very close to the coast and cell service worked until the dip down into camp site. Bridge work nearby made for traffic and noise.

SAFE CAMPING: Best Forest & Beach.
Beautiful area. Site one is good for camping with an RV or sleeping in your car. There was no smiley face sign. Composting toilet wasn’t usable because of garbage thrown in and around the outhouse. Not a level site so again use if you are in an RV or sleeping in your car.

Don't waste your time. Not like pic
Absolutely not what we expected. There is not much flat ground and the directions are not good. It's very over grown and found random stuff around the "camp site" if that's what you want to call it. I go camping in the woods all the time but this is just over gown with blackberry bushes and stuff so if your trying to find a flat spot... don't forget something to chop a path and place to put your tents. I talked to the host 2 times and the first time she didn't even know I was coming. The second time was after I tried to find where these spots were and couldn't find anything, I told her we were just looking for a flat place to put our tents that we didn't have to cut down trees and bushes and her response was that it's not flat. It really should be posted on the site that this is not a flat camping site. We chose the site that apparently they sent rvs to because it had the only kind of flat land and it had all these weird small shed and like a treehouse or something. It looks like someone's abandoned property. We talked to a random guy driving by that lived in the area that said it was her property but nobody took care of it. It was not at all like any of the pictures that are posted on this site. I was so hopeful and excited because we camp in the mountains all the time but there was not place to set up a camp. We even left the site to get service to try to find anywhere else to camp but there was NOTHING and trust me...we tried for several hours so that we didn't have to camp at this site. We eventually went back but it was the worst camping trip we have ever had! Good luck if you go to this place. Also we couldn't actually get to the creek due to the overgrowth of everything including large berry bushes.

The stream and horses beside the camping spot were absolutely gorgeous. There was no cell service, but that only made the night more relaxing. I loved how you could see all the stars and hear so many different bird calls.

SAFE CAMPING: Best Forest & Beach.
Beware of Cujo !!
this sounded like a great place to camp! unfortunately the directions were unclear and we had ventured onto the owners home drive way. we were greeted by two large dogs who probably were just protecting their home (which is OK) however the larger, younger dog proceeded to bite my car tires and bumper and was relentless. the owner was unable to gather him and the dog followed us to the main busy road biting at my car and its tires without stop. we threw food out the window, water at the dog and even screamed and honked our horn hoping to stop this dog!! nothing worked until we were on the main road and he got confused and I was able to safely speed off. this dog literally left bite marks all over my bumper. we had intended to camp here but after that felt very unsafe. we had dogs with us, much smaller dogs and felt that if we were to go back to that place and turn down the correct path the dog would still be there and find us and harass or even kill our dogs. we communicated this with the owner and she did not seem to feel sorry for us, which is fine . whatever. and we just asked for our refund . but it would have been nice to have clearer instructions and even a warning that there is a young large dog on the property!! I think it would have been ok had we not mistakenly went up the wrong path but the instructions made it sound like we were supposed to go that way! Larger, more visible signs should be put up indicating the appropriate direction to go!!!
