Most private camping I've ever done. Amazing communication with host. Very clean and safe. Loved it! Will stay here again.
Convenient to 101, plenty of space, and so nice to have a fire pit and firewood provided!
It was a wide open space to set up camp wherever you’d like. Heather was unfortunately away so we had to do some exploring on our own. However she was very quick to reply to questions. We had fun petting the horse until we realized (slightly painfully for our son) that the fence was electric. Maybe that’s common sense though and we should of know. Besides that the stay was very nice. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows and hot dogs 😁
If you're even thinking of camping anywhere near the Bandon area, stop what you're doing immediately and book this site. Heather and Nathan were beyond my wildest expectations for a host. They were super friendly and Nathan even volunteered to show us around the local beaches, old town area and to have a pizza and beer with us. They provided tons of information and were incredibly hospitable. Felt like staying with long time friends our whole stay. They will also give you total privacy if that's what you desire. As for their place, it's 40 acres in an enclosed ranch. They let you pick your spot. We picked a secluded field near some trees for shade. The field had mint growing in it that you could smell while in the area. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. You are really missing out if you don't book a stay here.

Heather was an incredible host. They (she and plus one) checked up on us (via text), but was very private and considerate. All I wanted was a place to park to camp. I didn’t need any extras, but they do/ did provide many extras. The restrooms were very clean. The horses were very friendly. The location was away from downtown, but close enough to get there in a matter of 10 minutes or less. I highly recommend the place.
Heather and Nathan were so so kind and welcoming, Great folks, great hosts. It was really apparent every time we bumped into them or talked to them that they had their guests' experience in mind and were doing everything during their waking hours to make sure everyone had a great time. My girlfriend an I went on a jog around the property and all of the sites are quite secluded and spread out--nothing like a state or national group campground. (Note that the Hipcamp site selection view isn't indicative the site location. Nathan and Heather just do their very best to find a spot on their property that fits your needs.)
This is a gem of a site, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Fresh eggs, tomatoes, a totally secluded camp site, we felt completely taken care of by Heather and Nathan (and safe during COVID). The spot is just a 10 minute drive from beaches, town, and other fun attractions. 3 days is not long enough- we are already planning our next trip back. Completely top notch service - you can’t beat this!
What a joy to stay at this private, well-maintained, peaceful, natural, convenient and equipped site! When you pass through the yellow gate, the horses greet you and fresh eggs laid that day from the on-site chickens may await! The hosts are lovely and showed us to our site and gave us the lay of the land.
The sites are large and well-kept. Ours, site E, backed up to the horse fence and provided shade or sun all times of day, depending on your preferences & weather. The toilets (Porto Johns) were well-maintained and conveniently dispersed throughout the property. Sanitizer and spray bleach was provided. TP was aplenty. The hot showers next to the double compartment dish sink, were both run on propane (and even the water pressure was great!)
We explored nearby Coos Bay & Bandon. We picked blueberries from the farm across 101. We bought local cranberry jam from a mile up the road. We are fresh caught fish. We caught sunset on the beach. What more can you ask for?!? But there’s so much more to do/see.
We booked for three nights and didn’t want to leave & look forward to returning to this site and bringing our friends! You could even work from here if you’ve got a Verizon or AT&T account;)
