Heather and Bob were fantastic and extremely accommodating and understanding. We had a rather sudden change of plans, which left us against the clock to find a place to stay while we were working out of town before the sun went down. They almost immediately responded back after we asked if they had any availability under such short notice and guided us to our spot in no time. They were very generous, thoughtful with their amenities and wonderfully kind. We'll definitely remember this place and hope to visit here again in the future.
This was my 2nd time staying at Elfenwood (airbnb) and I highly reccommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area . During this particular stay a college group had a party at one of the barns, and Heather and Bob invited me to watch them make their freakin' awesome kettle corn. Since I was already a fan said kettle corn (got to have some during the last stay), I enthusiastically joined in on the fun and even helped out bit. That said, I will be returning. The star gazing alone is worth a night out of the city. Namaste' to my wonderful host/hostess.
We loved our brief stay at ElfenWood Camp. Heather was welcoming and responsive in her communications and the site itself was lovely. Our three-year old could not get enough of the barn, with its old stables and fun games. We felt very comfortable and safe. If we make it to Oregon Country Fair next year, this will be out go-to spot.
Beautiful property and welcoming hosts. I would definitely stay at ElfenWood again! Also, Heather's kettle corn is the best I've ever had (I'd visit again just for the kettle corn alone).
Thanks for a great night!
We very much enjoyed staying at ElfenWood and recommend it to anyone traveling through the area. Wonderful, wooded campsite and very nice folks. Heather and Bob are welcoming, thoughtful and accommodating. I hope we can visit again soon.
Beautiful site with awesome hosts
What a fun and beautiful little stop on trip through Oregon. Heather was beyond amazing! She went so far over and above for our little family and her Kettle Corn is seriously some of the best I've had. The site itself was large enough for our 32 ft fifth wheel but still private and safe. The barn games were a favorite of our 5 and 7-year-old! We went fishing at the gorgeous Perkins Peninsula between Venetta and Eugene and our oldest caught his first fish! If you happen to be passing through on a Saturday you definitely want to check out the Saturday Market. Besides that just ask Heather she has tons of great recommendations of things to do and eat nearby
Elfenwood was our official 1st Hipcamp experience and we couldn't have picked a better place! Heather greeted us as we arrived and showed us the available site. Every site there is a winner! We loved the private treed property and the hammocks were so relaxing. Our host provided us with a local kayaking spot that was made for a perfect day! We spent the second day on one of the many hikes located in the area. You won't be disappointed camping here...games, showers and peaceful, serene camping. It's going to be hard to top Elfenwood, but we're excited to try out more Hipcamp adventures!
