Forgive us, but we have to say it—Gorge Campground is gorge-ous. Seriously, some of the forest’s tallest ponderosa pines tower above this campground, which sits pretty on the banks of the Metolius River. The 18 campsites here are non-reservable, so try to arrive early in the week to snag a spot. For important alerts and info on closures, check out the campground website.
